We signed up with EWA as an advertiser about 6 months ago. Several months passed before we found out all of the traffic they sent us was fraudulent (it went below our radar due to low volume). We went through a few weeks of back and fourth and eventually got all they we had paid them (about $2k) refunded.

All of you people posting about how EWA doesn't pay are probably the ones who sent us the fraudulebt traffic in the first place.

I skimmed the title as EWA DOESN'T PAY - a short story from an EWA advertiser

at first glance. Then I read what you wrote and I was thinking huh? I looked back at the title of the thread and it said EWA Does PAY. Very weird.

advertiser testimonials don't really count...advertisers are the lifeblood of an affiliate network. They are the ones who actually pay them. Meanwhile, affiliates are a dime a dozen and can be screwed over with little recourse

erdini, as both an advertiser and publisher, I have had it backwards from what you think typically. It's all relative to how much volume you do as an advertiser or publisher I guess.

considering i seen 1 thread say they was owed 18k, and another say 5 k. Now Math is not my favorite subject but that looks like 23k,

So please take your 2k and STFU until you know what your talking about.

I been waiting for a payment since August, So you to assume hundreds of people are lying cause they refunded 2k to you really does not help. Your a advertiser, and what good is a network with out a advertiser? so of course there gonna take care of you. Mean while you can bet a lot of us are still waiting for payment.

bgpennell, I am a pretty small advertiser for them and got ALL traffic refunded going back as much as 3 months. No other network would have done that. EWA has nothing to gain from us anymore too because we paused both offers in the same email we requested a refund. The whole reason for this post is to show everyone I did get paid.

You didn't get paid, you got refunded for a prepay.

Are you really patting them on the back for that?

your right a real network wouldn't of asked for a pre-pay.

A real network would run the offer pay there publisher like they promised. realize 2 months EWA is not paying for traffic, 3 months later after the first 2 finally complain on the forums to agree with people.

See a real network pays there publishers, We paid ours and never got paid from EWA, and i Know it wasn't fraud as we have enough tools to detect most and the ones it does not detect are very easy to spot, See we are a Small private network that pays even when so called bigger then the rest networks do not.

So maybe i have my comparisons messed up but i would consider us more of a real network then them.

gimmedat, yes because most networks would have never done it because most stick you to a 5 day dispute window. I'm not saying EWA is good to work with, I'm just saying there is another side to all of these "EWA doesn't pay" threads.

Wait, you got your prepay jacked, then bitched to get it back, and thats a good thing?

lol faggot.

Um, why would you prepay at a network that is not paying affiliates? Red lights should have been flashing in your head with different ways you could *LIKELY* lose your prepay and not get any traffic :/

sooooooooooooo...

You had to go back and forth a FEW WEEKS to get your refund? As an advertiser?

Not really good news on EWA, or is it?

::emp::

That's pretty much unheard of in the affiliate market advertiser world. I've received fraud traffic from quite a few of the big networks-- they'll only replace it at best. Most networks won't even do that. They'll try to negotiate a lower CPA/CPL to "work it into the deal"
