There is nothing wrong... I'm the new guy and no one trusts me... thats about it.

I just got to deal with it.

For proof...

I have already told you, if you want to see proof PM me, I'm not going to post it publicially

SC - I read about the paid membership sites biz in Scott Fox's Internet Riches and so I appreciate you posting this info. Especially about the software because I didn't know there was such a thing. That will make things much easier to set up. Thx.

Fuck you Jon! You remind me of Steve Erkel with an attitude the size of Texas and the arms the size of spaghetti noodles.

He still is because he acts fucking stupid sometimes and reminds me SO much of Lingle...

But hey, nothing would make me happier than to ban people and then post all of their personal and business info when we find out they are just here to scam or sell get rich quick shit after they have a nice post count.

yes its a nice post but when i pmed him he didnt show me the proof :P just a link to some get blablabl backlins in bablblalb days whatever :P but he seems like a nice guy

You guys are weenies. Of course, I love weenies.

The only hole I see in this plan is the part about Joint Ventures. To me, when someone mentions Joint Venture it usually means "work like a dog and send me half the money".

I have a hard time believing that someone who has $20k and wants to buy a website would *ever* spend it on a 2-3 month old site. Can you point us to a completed listing on SP? (That's at least something.)

For that reason, I call bull. No offense meant, but that's crazy.

I knew you would feel the same way. :) I think it's because we've worked with forums and they are not easy to monetize and flip like houses.

Dude, be transparent and show us the fucking website. All this bullshit about it not being legal is fake, he's obviously not showing because he has no website generating that much money. And his original post wasnt that great either, all he was saying is make a site with a few cheap goodies and offer a monthly subscription. Its not bad information and its certainly not bettagamma shitness quality, but its lacking and I really doubt the figures he used are real, or that he came about making them with as much ease as he says in the post.

Which is also not all that easy. ;) Glad to see the women of WF bring such infinite wisdom. Hehehaha! :D

Monitor SP for a week.. you'll see it happens all the time over there, it's insanity... but then you'll see them coming back to resell it a few months later for a bit less haha.

Sure, it probably happens there. But the amount of suckers that will fork over that kind of money isn't proportionate to what would be required to maintain a steady income from this type of thing.

A person may be able to pull it off once or twice, but $20,000 a year is poverty money. Working to garner a sustainable income is a better way to invest your time.

Goddamn, that's what my mom said!

Even so, I still think you're somehow related to Lingle.. You just seem SO much like him more and more. Which is weird because when you first came here, that's the first thing people said about you, and I said I found your posts amusing, but now, after you've been here for a WHOLE month and a half, you act like you have pull here because you bash ebooks just like the next guy does and because you make a thread about how much knowledge you have and blah blah blah join up with me and we'll all make millions with this and that blah blah blah.

I dunno.. just seems to me like you're about to get lots of people here involved into something that will make you bank, and leave them hanging because they believed your sales pitch of hope, unity and wealth just like your relative Mr. Lingle did.

But hey, if you say you're all legit in general, why don't you send me over some information on yourself so I can run a solid background check on you. I mean, you also claim to do really well and all, but then you make a thread about how you have no clue how affiliate marketing can even make all that much money...

Something just isn't right.

Overall, the biggest lesson anyone can learn is to be skeptical about everything and everyone when it comes to business. Gut feelings should never be ignored because dollar signs are flashing.

I don't think it's bull. Here's why:

In the past few years, I have sold some websites over at eBay (selling websites was an aside, not my main business). Most people who would buy a website are clueless as to the added value of its age or any of that. They don't even know how to do a who is or Alexa lookup. They're clueless. If you have a snazzy domain name with a product that they think they can market, and they are looking to make steady, residual or auto-pilot income, they will pay for it gladly.

I'm writing this one last time, and then I'm done. There is no more need to explain my self any furthur.

One I do not sell forums for christ sakes, I sell membership sites, where people pay a monthly fee to be in the site.

An example of a site selling for $19,000 next month is this one: blogmaster.internetpursuit.com a site I set up two weeks ago, very simple design, a wordpress design, with a basic password for each user to submit at the Paid Members section, they get to go in and do what they need to do.

$37/M Times 100 people = $3,700 minus expenses = $3,500
$3,500 times the normal *7 for sites sold on the internet = $24,500

$24,500 was a large number, buyer wants it for $19,000, I will accept.

This site is not being sold through sitepoint, this site is being sold to a personal investor.

These people buying theses sites buy them to expand them themselves. Then resell them, like Jon has said.

People look at these sites as businesses, and the fact is, people buy businesses taking every bit of their savings out of the bank. Why wouldn't they do it for an online business as well.

I'm tired of backing myself up, so, I'm done with speaking on this thread unless someone has an actual question they want answered. Think about how ignorant you all are.

I have no product to sell you.
I have no links to send you to.

Why the fuck would I just make a 1,000 word post that isn't true.

For Fucking Kicks!!
