This is defiantly the way to go until you figure out how comfortable you are with pushing the limits. Anything that I care about does not get direct blasting from scrape box - only tier links (ie bookmarks, articles, 2.0s etc..).

my boredom projects that distract me are purely there to break the monotony of pushing my main sites. and those are starting to get direct blasting. if they get tanked then its no big deal.

In my experience, those are not unique live links he is blasting @ 50k a day... If he is please contact my assistant right away so we can discuss how I get your lists.

When I built the site thats getting the direct blasts it was just a venting place to distract me from the money site. Once I got it built it started to rip the SERPS naturally for some weird keywords. Plus its something that Im passionate about, so it was easy for me to write quality content. Then I had some friends jump on board and do some guest posts on related topics.

I started the normal link building that I would do with any other site. ie Deeplining:xrumer,bookmark,2.0s, articles etc.... and did scrape box blasts on those. I simply got bored with the same old thing. so one night i loaded some of my keywords into the keyword scraper function scrape box offers, loaded a nice freshly spun comment, then dropped all of the tiered deeplinks as well as 10 direct of the main url along with 10 direct of every other url so that the majority of the comments would be directly to the main urls and only some to the tiered links.

I let it run all night on an auto aprove list I had built with about 300k urls. fuck it why not. i decided to do this every day for 2 weeks. after that i removed all of the tiered deeplinks and went only direct blasting. i still do about 50k direct daily with some mild variety tiered links on the side. well im happy to say that this bitch is ranking for a ton of the keywords. and i am getting some solid clicks in my adsense

I do not know how long this is going to last. But Im going to keep htting it hard. Its either gonna tank, or its gonna stay. I have been doing pretty much direct blasting for about a month and the SERPS just get moving higher.

So I would say that the comments are about as good as they can get. The keywords are in the 250-300 in number range. A lot of long tails and random related shit. I run SERP attacks every other day to see which ones are ranking between 20-60. I keep all of the words but I do about 10 each of the 20-60 ranked words until they move. This way those words are getting the most attention.

I repped you...what kind of anchor text diversity are you using? I've been rolling with 50% for a while, and it seems to be holding, although my results haven't been quite as good as yours.

Use it on your money site only if you've been using the software for awhile and know wtf you're doing.

It will take you a long time but I recommend you read the entire sales thread on BHW by Sweetfunny, the creator. It's almost up to 12k posts but you will find no better insight to the features and capabilities.

My list of anchor text has about 250-300 keyword phrases all related to my target niche

Lets say it were a clothing site the list would look like this

clothes
clothing
clothes online
clothesonline
buy clothes
buy jeans
jeans

so very broad phrases at first - i would say about 50 like that

then more specific
levi jeans
levi jeans red tag
red tag levi jeans
size 33 waist levi jeans

I basicly break down every possible type of clothing by brand, make, size etc.. then load into keyword scraper. this generates a huge, huge fucking list of anchor text related to the niche. from there blast away and use the serp checker to see which ones are having effect. then beef up on the quantity of the ones that are starting to move so they get hit harder.

then when i see them ranked i sometimes do a short blog post on the site about some of the words. but this is really when i have time. the goal with this site is to see just how hard i can use scrape-box directly.

I sometimes think that all of the big G updates cause a lot of hype as to what works and what doesn't. I have a lot of paranoia regarding why G updates. but that's another thread.

I think that you and OP can find eliquids case study very helpful.

For blasts directly to main site I use about 25% keywords that I want to rank, 25% related keywords (like: "what is mykeyword") and 50% random names and 'read more' type of anchors.

For first, second and third tier I use mainly related keywords and random ones about 50:50

this is basically what i do for my money site (minus the direct blasting- only toward tiered links). but with the boredom project, the keyword diversity i guess you would say minimal due to the fact that all of the keys targeted are directly related to the niche.

I get so many ideas from the keyword scraper, one of the most overlooked things about scrapebox is the addons...
 
Powerful tool that's useful when you first start and becomes even more useful as you learn how to use it. You can really use it to scrape anything if you know how to use custom footprints - come up with some of your own and you'll be finding sites that have barely been touched by other IMers.
