This will be my newb journal as I venture into the world of pay per click traffic, and using it to eventually reach $100 / day (which I'm trying to do by April, tops).

I work hard every day and I also have a VA that I've hired from some time back. We are both new to CPA marketing.

I usually buy WSOs from the warrior forum and utilize their strategies and methods to make money.

Here goes....

I have been watching a heck of a lot of CPA / Adwords related videos to learn the ropes of how CPA marketing works, and how I can drive traffic on adwords.

Thanks to fiverr, i can get my hands on pre-made accounts with voucher money in them, for very cheap. This DRAMATICALLY brings down business costs.

UPDATE: after consulting w/ a person on these boards, i've decided that buying WSOs is no longer the way to go.

Example?

WSO's are funny. BHW guys usually torrent them the day they come out and I've grabbed a couple for the lulz. My favorite was this retarded scheme with putting tinyurl's to CPA offers on 5x8 cards and putting them up on bulletin boards. Another was really mental, involved finding people with families, taking pics of their kids and selling them a digital photoframe for 10 times cost, or some shit, would have been funny if not so creepy.

lolololol:drinkup:

I will say it again... If someone was making a lot of money will they sell their method? I know I will never. Also shit gets pirated all the time, your method will be done in one week tops.

thanks for the advice yall.

Today I've been getting my nerd on, trying to learn as much as possible about the ancient arts of CPA and PPC. Im on Video 5 of the PPC Case Study that I found on YouTube.

It is super refreshing to be able to follow along with someone, learning a ton more as I go, instead of all theory and vague advice.

I also owe a lot to the user Grieve on these boards. Very helpful and very friendly, taking the time to talk to a newb like me. And I also plan on going through the Wicked Fire stickies to learn some PPC advice... will probably be applying to different networks soon too (already a member of 3).

Going to be taking a fuk ton of action very soon. I want success and I want it ASAP.

I just bought one of the recent "WSOs of the Day"...however from what im understanding here that forum promotes sunshine out the ass, and no real substance, lol.

keeping it moving along...I ran into NickyCakes Affiliate Marketing guide for newbies and it is a GOD SEND. danngg I needed it.

On another hand, I was able to get my hands on a bunch of landing page templates (a lot of them). I'm still trying to decide whether to pay designers to make landing pages for me...or get Photoshop and learn the language myself. Does anyone here create their own landing pages?

ok, im hacking away at three different versions of a landing page (with different offers on all three) is that accepted to show here?

As far as I know you can post the landing page pics here. That's what designers selling their services do. Just know that if you have any names or URLs that some people might take your idea and run with it themselves.

I would highly recommend Profitstheme.com (not Aff Link) by Welly Mulia, You can knock sales pages up in no time.

Hope this helps

i'll check that out too.

anyway, journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step...

launched my first peerfly aff campaign on 7search

got my first click on 7search! It was for 4 cents, but no conversion. the odd thing is that 0.14 cents were spent from my account.

anyone know whether 7search is a good platform to reach $100 /day eventually?

Don't use 7search. Ever.

I don't mean to reign on you parade but don't you think you should set your goal a little lower? Since you're running paid your main goal should at least be to break even. You'll lose money and fail a few times before things start to click and you start making good money (for most people).

If you don't have the capital to throw at *good paid traffic maybe you should provide some sort of service to fund your marketing efforts. With paid traffic starting out you're either going to just get it right off the bat, get lucky or completely tank the campaign.
