Bitcoins are going to be fine. I hope people panic and sell them so I can buy them as cheap as possible. They are going enable all kinds of things that we can't even see yet. Similar to the internet itself. Decentralized currency has never existed before in any form like this.

Agreed. (but gonna be missing out on the buying cheap part cause I'll be away :( )
 
Not true, bitcoin won't be around forever, it's a trailblazer, its marking a path for another more evolved variant to come around in the future...

Damn sorry to hear that. Glastonbury's lineup looks sick I can see why you're getting a little on edge whether you'll get everything or not.

That is one seriously sick line up.

Good news is even if SR doesn't pull through, any festival I've ever been to these types of things weren't difficult to obtain, albeit at a premium.
 
Back from glastonbury, it was amazing :D

Had a wander looking for stuff, all I got offered was a skimpy bag, someone selling baking powder, and two dodgy looking jamaican guys trying to sell to me (which I refused)

Luckily my mates had some and sorted me out :)
 
How do I get on to silk road, I have cancer and I have moved to illinois which means I can not get pot legally. could some one help me.

Well since this thread was Necroed (and I didn't do it!) anyone hear about Bitcoin's exploits lately?

I see it's back up to $5.38 right now, despite being to almost $3 for a long time... Months, actually.

Did you get any at $3ish? It seems to be on the climb so I'm kinda considering buying a couple or three Gs to hold along with other investments like precious metals and stocks.

One thing is sure: Druggies gonna drug. -And I don't think they're going to find a better way than Bitcoin to pay for those drugs.
 
Silk Road is a perfect example of how to control your own person. You want a gram of coke? Great. Want another one too soon? Learn to say no.
