IDK.. people are pretty dumb.. especially old people. They'll do just about anything their MD says to. That commercial was pretty disarming for such an overtly invasive idea. I can easily see people falling for this shit. First the old, then the young..

This, they seem to be trying to warm us up to the idea, talking about how it could identify 'terrorists' and save lives in the ER. They just brush aside all the personal freedom issues, what's a little freedom for some peace of mind, right?

We'll fight it at first, but it's only a matter of time until the older generations adopt it, and along the line somewhere a generation will be born to parents who are used to the idea and get their children implanted ASAP to 'protect' them, forever brainwashing them and perpetuating the cycle of cowardice and compromise. The only chance is for us to make it clear that technology like this isn't welcome, don't even let them think about it.

But the opposition will be labeled as 'technophobes', that we're just being paranoid. They'll use the most powerful psychological weapon they have to disarm us, a sentence that sounds a bit like: If you have nothing to hide, then why are you resisting? The compliance of America is so easily won by promises of safety, it's terrifying.

I had the same feelings about the Al-Awlaki assassination, his son (also an American citizen) was also assassinated a week later via drone. The idea of American citizens being targeted and executed because of their IDEAS, is truly chilling to me.

Fuck no.. I'll be living in the woods eating rat b4 that shit happens. I'm not religious, but being raised southern baptist.. ain't no fucking way lulz. That fear is deep down in my subconscious and I'm not fighting it or suppressing it or whatever the fuck.. I'm not psycho analyzing it, or doubting it..
