Not even close to the same thing. You're assuming that I think that tracking would be the extent of the control.. but what about when it becomes mandatory in order to buy and sell? That's the day I literally run for the woods. Good thing I live in the Natural State. Redneck friends are good friends to have, even if they are ignorant fucks.

What is up with all of these bills that take away our liberty trying to be passed at the same time? Coincidence or are they just trying to overload the system so at least one will get through?

Things usually occur at an increasing rate of progression. It's like compounding interest, but with energy (positive or negative) instead of money.

Not sure why everyone talks as if our fascist, oppressive existence is 20 years down the road.

Because only the smartest of us can see the trend. 9/10ths of america believe everything that faux news tells them and don't want to question shit.

On the other end, we who KNOW its going on aren't getting much press and know what 'fun' awaits us if we try to speak out, so we don't.

This means that the people who are just making the transition from drooling fool to semi-intelligent are both:

  • A. Loud and voiceferous, putting shit on their facebook walls and blog posts that they don't know better than to avoid yet.
  • B. Just starting to see the problem, so it doesn't look as bad as it is yet.

This guarantees that people who don't have a good grasp of the situation yet are the ones who society at large will be hearing from, and responding to.

tl;dr - Shit's fucked up.

Yes please, let's talk about it. I have a 2 year plan, and I'm not certain that's quick enough. I was thinking Argentina or Thailand? I know those are your typical "IM adventure" destinations.. but I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about a good place to relocate indefinitely. Not too much of a language barrier, thriving economy, ability to get a job as an english speaking expat, won't get slashed with a machete or detained by crooked local law enforcement. Of course hot chicks in bikinis and beaches are preferable.

I've been reading on a few different expat forums, just haven't had time to dig into it too much.

Any advice or suggestions? Is there even such a place?

He means people haven't figured out just how serious this shit will get, and how soon. You question the authority of a federal entity in public (ie: facebook) and you will be persecuted. Not just warned or fined.. snatched the fuck out of your house. Go ahead and scoff at it.

The sheeple have absolutely no clue what's really going on.

That's certainly one thing I meant; but it's also no fun to have the media simply report a different story than the one you're trying so hard to get out... OWS style.

From day one #occupy as been focused on removing money from politics.

Also from day one the worlds media as been focused on removing any coherent message from #occupy, making them look like greedy welfare bums with no central focus... They even had me fooled for a while but now the cat's out of the bag and it's obviously been a whitewash job from the start.

Imagine organizing such a HUGE protest, on par or better than the great protests of the 1970's, only to have the public at large think you are whining nincompoops instead of hearing the message you keep screaming day in and day out for months.

That shit's NOT FUN. And it must be happening to loud 'troublemakers' in this country on an hourly or even minutely basis.

Then, if they ever succeed in getting the word out and it starts to catch on, they can just be silenced in one of many ways, or even smeared by sexual assault allegations, Julian Assange style.

That not enough? Bullets are cheap too. Ask JFK.

Bottom line: If you step out of line enough, this world, and especially this country, will silence you with one of many weapons in it's powerful arsenal.
