Dr. Paul DESTROYS Rick Perry in New Ad

Ah yes, the guy who made millions shutting down and selling off businesses causing thousands of jobs to be lost.
No, he was in corporate takeovers. He didn't specialize in shut-downs and liquidation. He specialized in spending/cost reductions and trimming the fat.

Go look at this history. There were several companies that he was able to resurrect into profitability and eventually sell off.

What America needs to do is go through the grueling process of trimming the fat to become successful. I mean that fact is obvious and is business 101. You can't keep jobs that are under productive....

It shows his ties to large corporations and chasing the never-ending higher profit margin at any cost, if he was president he would be in the pocket of every major corporation. That was my mind set when posting that and im glad we agree that he would suck.
The government needs to make that profit margin at the expense of some of it's constituents....there is no possible way or solution to make everyone happy, that much is obvious.

Unfortunately the only term in peoples vocab these days is "government deficit" because they don't understand the concept of government surplus which would make the American people significantly happier in the long-run:thumbsup:

Government cannot make a profit because government is not engaged in competition. It "earns" revenue by taking it from the people at the barrel of a gun and interfering with free trade.

Also, government confiscates resources (capital) from the private sector. This makes us poorer, not richer. Private capital is how we have all of the amazing things we have. Government as a [sic] service is consumptive, not productive.

You can watch the original "Wall Street" and know exactly what Romney did.

The bottom line is that of all the candidates, none will bring any type of significant change to the country other than Paul. They are all in the pocket of big corps and will be as corrupt as the last two presidents.

I think last night was Ron Paul's finest debate moment since he took on Giuliani in Michigan back in 2007.

RP was absolutely magisterial and in full command. I only saw the highlights, and I have heard people think he sucked, but I cannot imagine someone with that opinion knows how Ron usually speaks publicly.

He was brilliant.

I guess my terminology in profit margin was incorrect. What they need to do it create surplus (Although not right now) with the government supported organizations such as USPS and the govt. supported financial institutions. As for congress, it should be focusing on maintaining the integrity of our currency by spending less and accumulating less. I agree with Ron Paul on those issues.

rofl, you have no idea what you are talking about. Wall St. would be if Carl Ichan was running for President.

Their leveraged buyouts restructured companies and turned them to profitability before selling (Not 100% of the time, but mostly). While I am a huge fan of Ron Paul and voted for him in the last election, he's just too wacky for the majority of the country to take him seriously.

He also put his hands on Ron. What a douche nozzle.

If a simple debate causes him to get riled up (or was it getting called out for being a hypocrite), imagine what the stress of the presidency will do...will put the Howard Dean battle cry to shame.

My question is how do you think Ron Paul is going to get these laws passed through congress if he is elected.

Nobody is saying that he will. Really can't be certain what changes he would actually be able to implement, but I'd think he could have some effect for the positive. It's certainly better than continuing to go in the negative direction that we are currently going in. RP is not a miracle from baby jesus, but he is an opportunity for an actual fucking change in direction, we need that.

Agree with you completely, but some people get caught up to much in the presidential election. More of just a reality check honestly.
