Different Class-c IP Hosting

I am using SEO hosting provided by hostgator- pricier but reputable and reliable. I still have a question though- they are giving me a lot of ip's, but all on the same nameserver. Someone over there told me this was still "SEO" as its nearly impossible to determine whether different ips are on the same server...but I dont know- at the very least theres no geographical variety...anyone have any thoughts on my predicament as well as $tates?

There are a lot of decent SEO hosts out there but experiences vary..

SeoHosting is likely the most reliable choice but aseohosting, leapswitch (experiences vary) and perhaps even Webhostingplex (many issues in the past but seems like they are recovering, at least the last couple days) are good choices too..

There are a lot of them out there, try them out with a couple sites each and you'll have your answer :)

aseohosting is more expensive as are a reseller for one i use (i use 3 seo hosting service for about 250 c classes)
1) seohosting.com < from godaddy i agree most reliable and fast - top notch - but pricey - i have like 20 or 30 there, all are ded. c class, you have to pay and ask for it or they will be shared dif c class

2) seowebhosting.net < i scored an amazing package deal on promo last fall - 299 a month for 200 (i've added 20 more) c class dedicated < i did have a bunch of downtime issues earlier on but i've talked with them a lot and things have dramatically improved

3) seohost.com < i have 25 dedicated here too... price isn't too bad, still nothing compares with my #2 deal - but it seems like way more $ now there too...

i heard indianets is good too

Shit, let me know if you ever want to let go of that box haha.

I talked to their sales guy a few times and in the beginning I was impressed, but ongoing he started slipping saying things like "4-5 IP's per C-class" and I was like uh..........................no.

Still looking for solid providers for 400+ but they're hard to find, heh.

Saw this only recently. Liquidweb is now charging only $1 per IP.
Earlier they used to be a dick about providing additional IP, and you were given 3 IPs per VPS account. And you needed to give a geenuine explanation if you ask for more.

But when I got a new VPS last week, I was only given 1 IP and below it it said, $1 per additional IP. I was like holy shitzz...

I haven't inquired the details, but it sure stuck in my mind. I didn't open a ticket coz I wanted to hear from outside source first, in case I have to give those reasons again.

But $1 per IP is the shit if they are all C Class.

They won't be all C-classes. You'd have to order them like 2-3 days apart, and not to mention they DO require justification. I don't think "SSL Certificates" will last past 150+ :P

SEO Hosting. I've read someone recommends hostgator in here. lol sorry we have a bad experience with hostgator that's why we migrate all sites to godaddy and seohosting. Hostgator have so many downtimes, and slowness in their server, we even had a CDN hosted, but no, its hostgator all the way as we pook around.

i use seohosting and aseohosting.
but as the ppl said there, 10$/month hostgator account is the best choice i think
i feel like google hates seohosting companies

What are the best options for hosting different sites on seperate class-c's and ip's?

It all depends on how much sites you have/want. I personally don't like to host more then 50 sites with one C-Class IP hosting provider, especially when building some bigger networks, or when clients are involved.

I would personally suggest these:

cclassiphosting.com
aseohosting.com
hostnine.com
seohosting.com
biggest-hosting.com
aseohosting.com

And for gods sake, don't use hostgator or godaddy

hey guys,

an update on this topic as i have branched out a lot since i first posted - building both my own network and also another smaller one (about 70 or so domains) all for one big client's authority site (it's a tv station site so pretty major...)

anyway, i moved up to a dedi on seowebhosting.net as i'm also running some forums and starting a niche social network with socialengine.net in addition to my more link pumping domains, money sites etc....

they were having lots of problems early to mid of the year with downtime etc.. but i havent had problems at all in a while, they are really getting their shit together... also they are getting a full new ip4 c block as prices are going up like in a few days... i added 10 more to my dedi and 5 to the vps there to add more a/b class diversity (right now I have ~ 275 dedicated ips with them on 3 different blocks... and thankfully was able to grandfather the awesome ip prices from a year ago when i joined with them...)

but i am spreading things out further now that the 'blog network' for ranking aspect is a bigger focus... i have 25 dedi c class with hostgator (seohosting.com) and agreed, never ever had a prob... no down time ever.
I did switch to dedicated ips with them as they are shared by default and i did some research and found some pretty sketchy and porn sites sharing my ips .. i learn maybe too much on side of caution, which sure adds up $ wise...

also - seohost.com - have 25 there... dedi too (ip diversity is one main reason - also if problems with one host i can quickly point my most important ones to another)...

I am also just signed up for a trial month with hostseo.org - shared IPs, but you get 5 on each c-class, so with a 20 plan you have access to like 100 actual ips... so for unrelated niche sites, or my lesser importance, lower pr domains i'll stick them on those and not too worried about that...

i do really like seowebhosting.net and am glad i stuck it out with them... but yeah their prices are WAY higher than when i locked in... great support, 24-hour tech by email response (and for me almost always is middle of the night!) i get a reply in a few minutes and they go the extra mile... wasnt always the case but has been for months.

lastly - about the DNS question, yeah that has been a big one for me too... most of my sites originally i set up custom ns1.mycooldomain.com, ns2.mycooldomain.com for each and every domain, mapping them to a pair of IPs from my pool... its a lot of work but i thought was necessary. But the more i've talked to knowledgeable people and read i feel less and less that it is that important... though having the multiple hosts allows for a mix. just make sure you have privacy, unique c classes (and if you can afford some mix of maybe eu and other locales, as many dif. a.b class blocks, and you should be good...)

a little off topic but I've been using xmarkpro and managewp - highly recommend both esp if you have a decent number of sites...

... if anyone else has thoughts or other opinions on the DNS thing i would love to hear input on that one too...

unagi+++
