Looking for some insight
I see there are people who are re-ordering this service, and I am really curious to know why.
It's been nothing but a pain in the butt for me since I ordered it on June 30th. I didn't get my e-mail address that I paid for until I asked for it 7 days later. It wasn't even my e-mail, but rather someone else's submissions. I finally got my e-mail address 2 weeks later, but this e-mail address shows responses starting from July 6, obviously from the date I inquired about my e-mail.
I understand that screw-ups can happen, what I really want to know, however, is the success rate of this service based on the experience of those of you who ordered it and returned for more.
I only received 132 confirmations/rejections/solicitations starting from July 6 to July 16, and considering that my submission are going at a rate of 50 per day for a total of 2,000, I am not sure how to interpret the data. Of 132 responses, there were only 2 approvals, the rest are either rejections or confirmations.
Now, I imagine that for every submission I make there must be a response that would confirm the submission, plus some would ask to verify the e-mail address. So, after 11 full days of running, I imagine there should be at least 550 confirmations sitting in my inbox; however, I got only 132.
I am not trying to bash the service or the service provider, but I do want to understand what my expectations should be. I know many directories won't approve your submissions until after 30 days, but normally this should be faster. I am kind of disappointed to have only 2 submissions approved in 11 days. But, may be this is the normal rate, and I should not be expecting to have more than 1-2 approval every 10 days.
That's why I am asking those of you who seem to be happy with the service: how exactly it worked out for you, how many approvals are you getting on a daily basis? How many approvals have you received overall after the submissions ended?
I am also disappointed there are too many submissions to paid directories. Why even bother submitting to those? It's not like we are gonna pay.
I would really appreciate some insight into how this service worked for those of you who seem to be happy with it. Let's say if you ordered 1,500 submissions how many approvals have you received and over what period of time?
I am also asking Steve one more time what happened to my submissions from July 1 to July 5 as the email he provided me with doesn't seem to deal with this period.
I sincerely hope that at least some of you guys would let me know how exactly this worked out for you.
