Chrome is gay

I save at least 2-3 hours a week due to switching to Chrome from FF. FF simply is not close to Chrome when it comes to speed and stability.

Internet Explorer, FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok...i kid i kid.

Chrome's definitely faster but if you need plugins, FF is way better.

My FF is usually on for few days at a time with 10 tabs open at all times as a minimum and usually uses about 250m of memory don't think it ever goes over 350.
Not something you would consider light but not as bad as some of you are experiencing.

Switched to Chrome about three months ago. I haven't even gotten around to install the new FF.

I could never get used to chrome because of the double, triple click features (when highlighting text). It's funny how the littlest features keep me on certain browsers.

Agreed. The main reason I still use Firfox 90% of the time is I'm used to hitting CMD+Enter to automatically add www+com to keywords (where in Chromium it performs a search in a new tab for the keyword).

That, and the fact that all the NoScript alternatives available to chrome/chromium suck ass.

wtf

die in a fire dude

do not use the word gay to refer to being weak or stupid for the remainder of your life :2gunsfiring_v1:

You are one to talk. Blatantly slandering the masculinity of demons.

I can't believe so many people here use Chrome. You must mean for like strictly personal browsing?

Chome removed most of the personal stuff, the only thing left is the ping they send on install, all the other stuff is opt-out and is easy to find. Then you can install all the cookie opt-out/https everywhere/other things if you like. But you still get Google Updater and things like that.

/me shrugs. I've been using SRware Iron, it actually runs better than Chrome on my computer and everything works. If I don't have alot of tabs open, I use Iron, if I am going to be doing a ton research and what not, I use firefox, and what not (paorama works way better than opera for tab management at least for me).

One vote for Firefox, with all its add-ons I don't think it is truly a question... I try to keep in mind that all the browsers have their faults.

The one benefit of chrome for me is the page translation function. Has anyone used the translator add-on of FF?

Hell if I'm gonna use anything it's gonna be firefox and opera.. everyone else is off the map.
