irideflatland - Got your order.

****ATTENTION****

We're dealing with some major Ezine drama. They have seemed to changed the rules All of a sudden on EVERYTHING relating to their articles, which has tremendously slowed down approvals, even though we have same day approvals. Articles that shouldn't be coming back denied are now coming back denied. Tremendously messed our entire workflow for the past two days.

It's doesn't hurt most of you as it does me. basically, I have to rewrite articles that I shouldn't, and my employees have to work twice as hard. Anyone effected will be given a free package of our new package we're launching on Monday/Tuesday - Value of about $170.

I'm sorry for all this guys. This has caused a major effect on our streamlined service, but is already in the process of being fixed for those effected.

Are you still currently accepting orders? If not, please let me know when you'll be ready to take on new ones, I'm ordering for another site

erolarman - Your one of the effected. I sent you an email yesterday and can resend if you want. Your project will be completed tomorrow - matter of fact, EVERYTHING besides ezine (which changed 5 rules on us) have been completed. We're waiting on 12 articles to be rewritten to meet their standards.

EDIT: resent to your email box instead of through the client portal.

jpet - Got your order, will queue it this evening along with all the other ordes.

*******ATTENTION*********

Ezine problem has been fixed, but will take 1-2 days to fully resolve. Everything will be back to normal once they fix issues on their side as well.

So0o0o0o0, anyway I can get this service re-done but without the domains I got, lol. Google past that algo. change the other day demoting those article sources and added a nofollow to ezine. My rankings went to page 2!!! Blah, pissy.

Dresden - What are you talking about? The links in the resource box are still dofollow, where do you see where links have been turned to nofollow? I just double checked your articles, and I'm pretty sure that ezine links are still as authoritative as they once was.

I would appreciate you making incorrect comments in my thread when you have no source to backup that inappropriate statement.

Berto - We just had a client that had their mininet done with good rank increases, and there's nothing changed. I would suggest you not basing the effectiveness of my package on what Dresden "thinks" is going on.

Dresden - If you have problems, I would appreciate you PMing me with actual facts rather than stirring up trouble in my thread.

Ezine Drama

Well, As many of you know, ezine is facing some major drama regarding the ranking of their own articles for major keywords:

EzineArticles.com Slapped Hard By The New Google Farmer Algorithm Update.

They even thought about making the resource box nofollow (which they won't):Search Engine Algorithm Changes

But they have made it impossible to get orders done, since they are not letting multiple articles be submitted on the same subject, with the same links, at the same time. For now, ezine doesn't look like a viable option any longer, as they are upset that they lost almost 50% of their traffic to ranked articles.

But, the thing about our package, is that we didn't use ezine for it's article ranking, we used it for their backlink authority. Since there are many sites that now have seemed to move up the ladder due to ezine dropping down the ladder, from this point forward, as well as pending orders, we are giving you the option on how you want that part of the package to be completed.

1. Submit articles to goarticles.com instead of ezine. We already have a bunch of clients who rather submit here anyways, since the click-through rate seems to be higher, and they allow 3 links instead of 2. They also wasn't hit almost at all with the new google algorithm.

2. Submit your articles over x amount of sites (whatever it may be, 5, 10, 20, 30, or 50). This will give you link diversity, and would also give you 3 links instead of the 2 links from ezine.

This is only for the ezine portion of the package. This does not harm any other part of the package.

We will be emailing each client to give them a choice of how they want their ezine portion handled. Based on my experience, neither 1 or 2 will harm your rankings. We've actually been testing choice #2 for a new package, and have had great success.

We will add the new choice to the form later this evening for new orders. We're experiencing a delay of pending orders (mainly because we have to give them a choice), but this will not affect new orders coming through.

Guess we have to roll with the punches. Ezine just lost a ton of writers though, and we're gonna be on that boat.

****UPDATE****

All pending orders have been notified of the ezine change and we have updated the order form. We will be adding the new orders from today to the client portal.

Thank you all for your patience!

after reading all the great reviews, I couldn't resist and just placed an order - ID: 06T050076R845490S

Hi

Ive read about the ezine stuff, they said on their blog they were defo going to use no follow on the links on ezine articles, now when you look they have crossed it out lol.

IF they go no follow surely they know that would be the death of their article service !!

DeShea,

When you finished the job for me for "tgtht.net" you said it ranked #70+ for its main keyword. I wasn't able to check this with SEScout since I just started tracking it there on Feb 28.

Since the Farmer update it dropped to #394. Huge drop.

Your service was the only one used on this domain and no other changes were made since. I believe your service's effectiveness might have been seriously affected by the algo update.

What changes to the service are you doing to work around the new algo?

Zotium, let me try to explain what's going on, since you stating that the drop came from the farmer update isn't true, since no one else has came forward with this argument.

The farmer update caused ezine's own rankings to fall, not the links the ezine articles point to. For example, ezine was ranking #1-#3 for reverse cell phone lookups for it's own article. That means that the ezine article was ranked highly, not a website linking from the article.

Google didn't penalize the sites that link from ezine. They dropped ezine's rankings because of what was going on with JCP, as well as several other high authority ranked sites.

Is this an issue? Only if you had an ezine article ranked highly for the kw. In your case, i'll be taking a look at it - but i highly doubt that 5 articles from ezine would drop your kw that far, unless it's a google dance and you just need to wait a little longer.

We have already taken the necessary steps to fix the issue - we won't be using them any longer. While I still think that ezine is a high authority site and there are absolutely no problems with linking from them, they have changed many rules for writers and have made it extremely difficult to post to it.

The update may have hurt you since you have dup. content on all your pages. I'll PM you a sentence from your main page, that shows up 34 times in google - that's just one sentence from your main page.

Overall, maybe you should give it a little more time before you speculate the update has hurt everyone that ordered a package from me. That seems like you're possibly jumping the gun again, as your last thread.

Pming you now about the dup. content issue on your site.

Thank you all for your patience and support!
