Well, I have the 2k/day DFB package. And I use DFB to basically backlink all of my backlinks :)

I'd recommend both.

With BLG you can do a 3 or 4 day project, then schedule 3 or 4 days of DFB to each BLG's daily project. You can build some pretty cool tiers using both of these tools.

Didn't catch what you do with the 2k/day of BLG blasts. I take it there is some allocation of what you can do daily with BLG. That is if you were to use the 2k/day of BLG then you couldn't on the same day build Web 2.0 properties?

Ah, sorry, must of misunderstood your question.

But yea, basically with BLG, you have 1 of 4 projects to schedule ONCE a day.

1. 700 blog comments (it might be more now, they're always upping it.. it originally started around 300)
2. 60+ (might be more now as well) interlinking profile
3. 15+ web2.0s
4. 2,000 profile links (just like DFB)

A cool thing is you can easily do is schedule any blast to any other previously completed project... which is awesome for tier-ing out your link juice.

So as I was saying, I like to use DFB to link to each of those projects individually. The amount of combinations are endless. Let me know if you have any other questions, for the last few months I've only used DFB + BLG and I havent looked back. All my projects are increasing their ranks, you just have to be really smart how you use your tools.

low indexing rate

I've been running 3 3-day projects and 1 repost to the same domain. Starting from over a month to 20 days ago.
Just checked all web2.0 properties on SB and out of 62 urls only 13 are indexed
I thought indexing rate of 3 level links should be higher.
What's others experience? What can be done to increase indexing?

I have been rss'ing and pinging the links created and have been having good success

Just to add to the above(sorry about the delayed second post). For the low cost to have your links rss'd and pinged, whether its your time or you pay someone to do it, it is well worth the return. I make it mandatory for all of our links to our sites to have it done. if you have low indexing rates and are not submitting feeds and pinging your links you are letting your time/efforts/money slip through the cracks.

I've been experiencing much lower indexing rates with BLG lately. Profiles, only 2/100 were indexed. 3 day project, only 4 of the web 2.0s properties have been indexed after 2 weeks. Might be losing a bit of effectiveness of late.

Hey zhenjie,

I dont know if its only BLG links that are indexing naturally at a lower rate, for us damn near anything we build (hosted cotent & profiles w/ lower indexing) will only index around 25%-30% as of late. After we rss and ping (or build socials to them if they are really stubborn hosted content) our links we can usually get 80%-90% or this has been my experience lately.

How spun are your articles? If you are sentence and word spinning you should get a far higher stick rate.

hmm, thank you MJ
I was under assumption that 3-4 level links will guarantee high indexing rate. I guess I was wrong. I also do DFB to web2.0 and profiles lately and use linklucios in combination with DFB. I should re-check same properties again to see if more is indexed now after a week or so of doing it.

@sergit

building tiers/links to your front line will definately help indexing among other things :D, not too sure about guaranteed though. I have some links that just simply will not index no matter what i do to them. I usually push for 80%+ indexing if i can and move on. Try submitting some feeds to feedlisting.com, shit works.

Cheers!

^Doing this does help.

ianbirdy,

I was outsourcing the job actually before but for the last month or so we have been using exrophy's new tool/service linklicious.me which has been very effective along with submitting feeds to feedlisting.com and other similar sites.

hope this helps,

Cheers!

Is there any chance BLG will have some type of integrated pinging feature in the near future? :xmas-smiley-016:

See the announcement below.

If you buy this and DFB, you don't need to ever visit the BST again :)

That is our goal. One stop shop for all of your backlink needs.

I have many Web 2.0 sites already setup - can I load them into BLG and post to them?

Sorry, we cannot post to 2.0's that were created outside our script.

hmm, thank you MJ

I am not sure anything can guarantee high indexing. There are however things we and you can do to help your links to be indexed.

New feature alert!
The Genie has a new friend - linklicious.me!

We are proud to announce that we have a seamless way to connect your BLG account to your Linklicious account to have your links automatically indexed. Under your edit account tab you will now find a linklicious API key. Simply paste the key into your Linklicious account and your BLG project links will be pulled into Linklicious and they will create rrs feeds of your links and ping them.

What are people's thoughts on the web 2.0 footprint left by using the user name in the url?

For example you end up with quite a few of the web 2.0 sites with a url along the lines of

345doll4dr.xxx.com

where xxx is each of the various web 2.0s names. In addition, for the few that don't use this url structure your user name would be 345doll4dr. To me that is a pretty big footprint to leave in your linking structure. I would be really interested to hear a few of the experienced SEO guys thoughts about this.

I signed up for the trial and really liked the product a lot but cancelled after the week because of this issue. If this could be fixed I would sign back up tomorrow.

jschmidli I was hoping you would have responded to the above post of 12.22.10. I was ready to sign up sometime back but noticed you haven't been around for almost 3 weeks until today. This service sounds really good and I can easily justify the expense. However would like some reassurance that timely support will be available. Thanks for your time.

With the holidays the past few weeks a lot of our staff was out and the ones that were left were keeping the machine rolling. Sorry about not responding in the thread. We are all back now in full force working on new features and projects.

Honestly, I am not sure how to respond to the quoted post. When building 2.0 sites we have to have register unique usernames. If we do not use a username with a few random characters (letters or numbers) we run the risk that name might be taken. If our script hits a taken username it has to skip that particular site and then our users will lose the opportunity for a backlink on that 2.0 site.

As far as the footprint effecting the ranking, we have not seen this to be an issue. You are only building 15 or so 2.0 sites at a time so only those will share that username. The next batch you run will have another username. I have personally used this on many of my own sites and have not had an issue with it at all.

If you have any specific questions feel free to email our support and test it out :)

Really, I don't see the problem there, and haven't noticed any affect at all. Think of it this way, if you were building these for your business, wouldn't you be signing up with your first name and last name?

However, a feature that would be cool is to allow addition for our own domains for posting to them.. Kinda like a mini LFE :)

I have signed up. Now just waiting for my account to be set up. Looking forward to it! Thanks

Hmmm... That just gave me an idea for a new project type. Thanks for the suggestion. I will run my idea by our dev team and see what they say. I definitely think we can do something very similar!
