354 Targeted Adwords Clicks - 1 Lead

Now thats a messed up ratio for zip submit. I'm thinking that the advertisers are putting the tracking code after the user enters their shipping details and hits submit on the 2nd page. Now that doesn't make it a zip submit does it?

I tried doing the offer myself (I changed my ip and cleared cache and cookies) and nope no conversion.

Its the same thing with CJ and CpaEmpire. Does anyone know of a zip or email submit that ACTUALLY TRACKS after the user submits?

P.S. The offer was from rewardscastle.com (AKA rewardsgateway.com)

Try an offer from a different advertiser. If it still converts the same its the traffic.

Zip submits are all over the map with converstion rates. I had one a little while back that was a gas card offer. I was sending myspace type traffic to it and one day it was converting about 1:19 and the next day it was like 1:380. Both days saw about the same amount of traffic. Sorry to hear you are having issues with it but if it doesn't convert when you fill it out, tell your AM that you were testing it to see what the user would see on the next page to help prompt them appropriately. They are usually pretty cool about stuff like that.

I've had some pretty bad luck with zip submits, even with targeted traffic. If there's a lot of fine print on the conversion page I wouldn't use it.

Apparently...Generous Genie is also run by revenuegateway.... Guess I just gotta avoid those scammers.

Edit: It would seem that all of the "free stuff" zip submits are run by revenue gateway..

I generate plenty of leads from both organic and adwords traffic. I use CPAEmpire. Usually the offer will tell you how it pays. If it says zip or email submit then that is when it pays. Usually a 2nd page submit will tell you it's a second page submit.

Are you sure? I've tried attempting the offer myself (with a new ip and no cookies) and it doesn't track. I've asked my friend to do it, and it doesn't track!

How is it converting for you?

I might give it another go, hopefully my leads will track sometime.

Edit: Does Generours genie track for you ( the zip submits)?

Some offers take longer than others to showing conversions. I've run campaigns where there was a 3 hour lag, and others that showed up instantly. Check with your AM, they'll usually know if there is a lag in tracking.

I had the same problems with zip submit. If you're using Copeac, I believe all the zip submit offers don't payout until the user submits the second page, with their shipping information.

I thought the same thing on Copeac for awhile but they usually say of it's 2 pages. I had my affiliate manager test my leads for me if it was questionable and they usually worked. Another good way to test is to delete all cookies and goto your link via Hide My Ass! Free Proxy - Free Web Proxy - Free Anonymous Browsing. That has always worked for me.

I don't think that's the case, they usually tell you if there is a second page. Have your AM try you link or confirm it, that's what I do. Otherwise clear your cookies and use a site like hidemyass to test it. I found that zip/email offers didn't convert well because of all the fine print on the lead pages.

Zips are all over the map

I am going to try my best to explain this issue... As it runs beyond Millnic, Copeac, Azoogle etc etc

As these email zips subs have become more prolific, the advertisers (generous Genie, Rewards Gateway, and a dozen others 99% of which are owned by about four different companies running under a dozen names each) have built up huge databases of people who have submitted to an offer previously. You may be running an iPod zip offer, but 8 months ago that person entered their email at an email sub... as of recently they have stepped their scrubs too a new level, cross referencing offers and that lead will get scrubbed!

I wish i could lay out simply for you when, why, and how any given lead is scrubbed. But they keep their methods close to the chest and don't want to tell us everything (mostly because we'd flips our tops and say LOTS of nasty words).

But I CAN tell you this... 25-40%+ of the people that visit any given zip/email sub page DO make it to page two... Sure if they traffic is crappy the numbers will be much lower, but not 380/1 low... But it happens, it happens all the fucking time. When it does, you don't get paid, CPAempire doesn't get paid. 95% off email and zip sub campaigns out there are saturated and they have MASSIVE databases and scrubs. They should be lead out to the pasture and shot. They are all but dead.

There is a simple answer though. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS talk to your Account Manager before you run anything. Two seemingly identical iPhone offers may convert at VERY different rates.

We are constantly harassing our email/zip advertisers to clear out databases, run offers exclusive to Millnic Media, and keep the conversions rates high.

We have a few offers running right now will GREAT conversions rates. Talk to your AM, he/she will make sure you are running the right offers. The payout may only be 1.20 instead of 1.75 but when they convert at 1/4 instead of 1/40 well... you can do the math ( its a .40 epc, instead of 0.043 epc for those who don't do math so well).

So long story short - Email and zip sub scrubs can lick. They can lick hard. But those that are good - are really fkn good.

Chicken nailed it on the head. Scrubbing is reaching new records. If you think about it your conversions could drop daily as each offer gets submits from any number of niches.

oh that explains it. I've never had luck with zip or email submits either...

Ya thanks for explaining chickenhole. That clears up a few things with me + rep.

We always test our offers and usually go with a no scrub. If the zip/email sumbit says 1st page submit it better track the lead after the first page. If not then there are issues. Ive seen some track after something like 15 pages. Thats insane and the affilate cannot make much money. Case in point, TEST OFFER.
