Agreed. Whatever the solution is; I'm 100% sure the answer is possible with smartphone Apps and their attached cameras... It HAS to be a matter of policy change and proof of bullying... Because no kid can be trusted to carry around a can of mace or taser or the like.

So it'll take a few more years, a few more famous youtube fights, and a smart app programmer. -And perhaps something like a worldwide Bully DataBase site where employers and child services workers can go check to see if anyone's gotten too many bullying complaints and watch the attached youtube films to judge severity.
 


I'm so happy we didn't have smartphones and all this technology when I was in high school. At the end of the day a fight is just a fight and we forget it the next day. Honestly I think they should ban smartphones at school. As the woman was saying in one of the videos above, once a video like this goes viral online, it follows the kid for the rest of his life and it makes it into a whole bigger deal than it actually is.

Yeah, something like that, and the database idea, but also something else maybe. Some kind of "intimidation service" to get school admins in line when they punish kids who defend themselves. Maybe you buy bullying insurance and if you make a claim the service investigates and then highly publicizes, shames the people involved (thinking SEO of course).

As a former fatso who got bullied like hell until started hitting the gym hard in junior high school, I was glad to see the fat kid full on slam that little shit.
 
Sucks to be that little kid though, that's serious humiliation at school. When you're super skinny like that you have to avoid being grabbed by all means. That's his mistake. The reason Bruce Lee was the best despite being only like 140 pounds is because he was simply too fast. I saw a documentary saying that his punch was 4 times faster than a Cobra attack. So for all the kids out there:

it you're short & skinny => get into Southern Shaolin Kung Fu
if you're tall & skinny => get into Northen Shaolin Kung Fu
if you're short & fat => get in BJJ or Judo
if you're tall & fat => get in BJJ or Sumo lol
