Fucken politicians. Guys, just take some time off, and don't worry about creating any more laws. We already have loads, so we're good in the law-creation department right now.

Laws like this WILL get used against people in mass when the time comes for it. The time will come too.
Ironically, the main people who post fake profiles on dating websites aren't Americans. They're people from other countries preying on stupid men, tricking into giving them money for their so-called situations. A ruling from the DOJ would do nothing.
Let's see, it's because a mother pretended to be some teenage girl on Myspace. Perhaps their should educate young adults and really anyone to always be cautious and skeptical about anything online.
I see the entire case as something that could of been prevented. A simple phone call 'hey is that you' could of easily prevented the situation. The problem isn't the current laws or these online services ITS THE USERS!

The law must allow "prosecutions based upon a violation of terms of service or similar contractual agreement with an employer or provider,"
Fuck Facebook or Match.com, who cares? Just don't use them.
But your employment contract will now backed up by the resources of the state. As will (and you can bet on this) credit card companies, banks, utility providers, telecoms, ISPs and every other essential facet of life.
At least we can always protest peacefully against this.

Where to move to? I'm sure you have a couple different locations in mind? Anyone else? I've read most of the previous threads about the best country for an AM.. just looking for additional suggestions. Even if you're a brit who's never set foot on US soil you can get extradited to a US prison.
