Your most recent life changing realization?

I've finally accepted that the lazy and/or incompetent will never, ever stop trying to have "the government" steal what you have produced so they can have some of it without having to earn any of it.

I'm tired of working so hard just to see half of my production redistributed to people who want to sit around all day and not earn their keep.

As I just graduated, I'm still a bit underwater but the very second I'm debt free I'll be reincorporating my businesses in regions that aren't run by socialist/communist/feminist/whateverist parasites and starting to shore up my defenses.

My most life-changing realisation was that my wife was having an affair. Stupid amounts of legal costs for a divorce.

tldr; Don't get married. Ever.

On a related note*:

Emotional people are unpredictable, unreliable, quick to take offense, and need ongoing affirmation. They are high-maintenance.

My life improved when I started weeding emotional people out of it.

* related because most women fall into this category.

JakeStratham is straight killing it with the knowledge/wisdom bombs.

My most recent revelation:

Most of the revelations I have in my life are temporal, superficial, and only meaingful within the context of whatever mindset/emotional state I'm in at the moment.

As soon as I think I've found an "absolute truth" that will serve as a guide throughout life, time has a funny way of challenging/debunking it shortly after.

Only being born with one kidney, a couple months ago I had a kidney infection bad enough that if I didn't go into the hospital any later then I did I might have not have been here to write this. With that all I drink is water and try to exercise everyday. and I feel a lot better then I did before. Water is King! :jester: :hitit_sml:

LOL..

Someone has never been around male homosexuals (or female ones, for that matter).

As my wife works in the gastronomy business, I know a LOT of gay people - and fuck it...

Most emotional, drama-laden people on earth.

1) Don't do what others want you to do, be your own BOSS!

2) Never do a job, do a business. Do you want your fucking boss to get rewarded for your efforts?

3) Always lead a simple life, luxuries are not going to lead towards a peaceful life.

I'm starting to realize life isn't about building for a single climax or multiple climaxes of life enjoyment.

example 1 - You waste away your younger years focused on the $$ and live full of regret when you realize you don't know how to be happy

example 2 - You partied your ass off in your 20s and now you are 30 with no concept of being happy without the instant gratifications that damage your long-run goals.

In both of those examples, the past doesn't really effect the future how most people think. It's about being content/happy right now + the future from day 1 of adulthood and not focusing on singular or multiple climaxes.

A willingness to work is more important than skill, knowledge, and connections. The latter 3 will not save you if you're lazy.

Coolidge said it best:

"Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not: nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not: the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent."

You can manipulate your mind with positive or negative, and that's what you'll achieve at some point.:rasta:

That some people are fucking stupid irrespective of their age, but this is ok, it just means more cock for me and more money for me.

As a kid, you go through life with all these questions that people who are older than you seem to be able to answer effortlessly.

As you continue to grow, finish school, start doing whatever the fuck you want, you realise that some people who are centuries older than you are fucking retarded. This begs the question, how can you be on this planet for so much longer than me, but still be useless at the most basic of skills or lateral thinking?

Seeing girls get texts off guys who are in their 30s, with shit like:

"Hey you want to go out with me?"
*20 minutes later*
"Lol jokes."

These people act like they have just grown their first ball hair, but should have realised that this sort of shit is not ok and does not work within their first 15 years of chasing tail.

My dad, ultimate bringer of childhood knowledge, trying to tell me about chemtrails. I thought that shit was for 14 year old conspiracy nuts. Fucking stupid. I mean, where is the lateral thinking? I feel like I could put a youtube video up with scary music, unsubstantiated facts and photoshopped pictures and make these bandwagon jumping fools believe anything I want.

My uncle, a ballin, successful business owner, one day tells me that we are all going to spontaneously combust for our sins, with the source as youtube. So smart, yet so fucking retarded.

Holy shit this made me LOL. I've got some relatives that believe this shit. Add to that the conspiracy that Aliens are demon spirits.

Another realization:
There may come a point where your closest friends/relatives are the ones who are unhappy for your successes.

I've had role models turn into the worst models. I've had close relatives try to back stab me . Relatives that have shown contempt towards my business and personal successes in a variety of ways.

Keep your circle small.

1. Things are almost never anywhere near as bad as they initially seem. Keep this in mind when something goes tits up, and you'll deal with it well.

2. Perfection is the enemy of perfectly fine. Some idiots waste hours trying to get the perfect shade of blue in their logo. Don't be an idiot.

3. Smart work is better than hard work. But it's not enough - you need both to make it big.
