Thanks for the advice, Been applying to networks and have only been showing one of my sites, will be more cautious on who I show my landing pages to

just show a blog or something to air on the safe side.

I don't even ask anymore how/where my boys do their thing. I've learned that this is a pretty secretive community...But if an affiliate asks me to look over something (usually a noob) I have no problem doing so and I keep it on the down lo. Just be careful who you talk to out there...

If it's a zip or e-mail submit it probably just got scrubbed out. Sucks but I see it all the time. Kind of the nature of those types of offers.

Take everyone's advice though and get to know your AM before you spill shit like that. If they're asking suspicious questions better to air on the side of caution.

your definately getting scubbed, i dont think its because your am stole your idea. But you should definately keep it to yourself.
Thats why emails and zips suck so bad. They convert at first and then usually die off.

I am friends with my AM, but that doesn't mean I'm going to tell him all of my techniques and tricks. It's like other affiliates...your probably friends with a lot of them, but do you hand them all of your info on a golden platter when they ask? probably not.

It is sad in the world of affiliate marketing where you cannot trust your affiliate manager. I have been an affiliate marketer for years, I have been an affiliate manager, and now I own my own affiliate network. Sad to say, but most of the time, your affiliate managers don't give a freaking shit about you unless it is to get something of value from you.

I would say this is a pretty sweeping generalization. There are a lot of good AMs out there who genuinely do care about the success of their affiliates, how else would they have a sustainable business?

P.S. If you are starting a new affiliate network, I wouldn't recommend having the word "Empire" in the title. ;)
