Shoemoney..

I can't stand him. His pretentious blog makes me want to hit something. The fact that he dubbed Markus a fake, then Markus told him he'd sue him for slanderous remarks, so Shoemoney changes his blog to say it's his "opinion".. Shoemoney also said that Markus contacted him asking for an interview or something like that, and it turns out he was actually lying about it.

So we have a guy with a lot of readers trying to stir up the hornets nest by calling someone out when you have absolutely NO proof on it whatsoever, and then you make shit up yourself to make him look bad..

Now the kicked of all of my disgust is that Markus agreed to go onto ShoeMoney's new and boring radio show. I would love to get on there and back Markus up, because Shoemoney is a total douchebag. He also went after two people I was going to use on my radio show, but since I terminated the radio show, that doesn't bother me much anymore.

In closing, whether he comes here or not I don't care, and he would be treated as a total equal too, but I am curious to know why he started that Markus Frind witch hunt in the first place and lied about some of those things himself..

This one is for you Shoemoney..

Got a link to Shoemoneys blog?
And markus'?

I'd like to check it out :)

I'm not asking anyone to agree or side with me either.. just voicing my disgust for him and his bullshit.

Does seem like a pretty big load of bullshit.. although I dont know the guy at all.

Im gonna be honest - for some reason I have a mental picture of Bryan on Family Guy singing "Money" while hes totally smashed. Don't know why.

No I understand, I've been keeping up with his blog for some good tidbits every now and then, but usually it's about some conference or his fans. I don't really like that crowd (there's like six of those folks I can name off the top of my head at SitePoint), so I'm here. I don't like those people of webmasterradio either...

I'm going to start going to conferences. AD:TECH NYC being the first one of the year, SES, and the next Affiliate Summit. You can damn well bet I'll be sporting WickedFire gear the entire time too, just to be "that guy".

I hope shoemoney is going to join in this thread, that would stir things up hehe.

I doubt he will because of his new kid. By the way, congrats on that Shoemoney.

Can I just say how great it is to see a thread like this created by the founder of these forums? I personally have no clue about Shoemoney and don't know too much about Jon as I'm pretty new to this whole thing. The reason why I'm glad to see a thread like this is that it shows how this forum isn't afraid of being open about everything, with little regard to being "politically correct".

Seriously, this shows a lot of promise for this forum. Jon, I'm glad you're showing how this place really will be a place for people to just talk about whatever they feel like, without fear of having threads closed and accounts banned because of a slightly "mean" or controversial mark.

Great, now it sounds like I'm kissing butt...

I've read at a few places that it was a nice example of linkbaiting and whether it's true or not, he sure did attract a lot of attention.

It's absolutely true.. not the kissing ass bit, but the other paragraphs..

People who post here can voice their opinion about anything under the sun, even if it's about me. I won't ban someone for starting up, because it's all freedom of speech on here, and you can easily call someone out on something here so that everyone knows what a dickhead they've been. If no one speaks up, how will others know?

I'm pretty much the same way. I don't have much of an opinion on him (although the markus stunt was BS) but I do follow his blog just to see what he has to say. Everyone once in a while there is something good there.

Aside from that, I'm not a fan of the whole google ass sucking crowd, that hang on every last word Matt Cutts has to say. Reminds me too much of the typical office environment where people will do anything for a little attention from the boss.
