Spent a few hours last night submitting a few sets of dating ads, with no red flags in text (except maybe being targeted by state?) and very, very tasteful pictures, clearly stating service to which they were linking, which is free and also has a very tasteful LP.

Got multiple variations rejected over the course of 3 hours, with slight tweaks each time. Rejection time ranged between 15 minutes and 1 hour. Cause for rejection each time seemed to reference Guidelines almost randomly - I was auditing carefully against the Guidelines, and couldn't find any issues.

This morning, got 4 ads which were exact dupes from the night before accepted within 15 minutes of submission. Made a couple changes, added a couple more, accepted in 45 minutes.

After a couple hours, I made changes to a few of my Prosper202 links to adjust the keyword I was passing to identify the ad - adjusting the links put all ads back into "Pending Review", and then all were rejected in about 20 minutes.

Since then I've been re-submitting and have received two rounds of rejections so far. Just keeping at it.

I can see why people resort to Facebook Ad Manager. I'd sworn not to drop the $200 until I get a FB campaign profitable by hand, but I'm starting to change my mind.

Try iMacros for Firefox. Free > $200, especially if just starting out.

I have a saved macro to submit ads. I make one ad for the campaign by hand, then just put all of my images into a certain folder, do a mass rename on the images, do a couple "replace all" in the saved macro file and press play.

Hey thanks for the tip - I had started playing around with writing a script to do this with Selenium, but this looks much faster.

You're targeting only "Single" individuals and specifying Sex of your target audience and "Interested In" sex, correct? With dating ad rejections sometimes it's that simple.

FB seems to want to make sure that only single people who are interested in Men and/or Women are the only ones that see dating ads.

i seriously don't get the rejection thing on facebook. i'm not a big advertiser there but of the xx,xxx ads i have submitted i've only ever had a handful rejected and they were pushing the mark lol

use a switch script (cloak) and just switch the aff offer page for the offer page direct (i normally knock as many queries out of the query string as well), check it works inside and outside the US via vpn/proxy then switch back post approval.

don't bother with any of the responses listed above ^^

simply email affiliates@facebook.com explaining that your ads are legitimate and argue your point & they will tell you why or mark them as approved.

Yeah, I have to submit the same dating ads several times a day for a week before they get approved. If I didn't have FB ad manager I probably wouldn't bother. Resubmitting the same ads can just consume your whole workday. But yeah, use iMacros first and get the feel for maximizing your time, like hitting Play right before you get in the shower, lol.

The affiliates@facebook.com people have actually been great, but I never tried asking them about dating ads. Will do, and also take itchy's advice.

I've about had it with making countless ads, only to get them disapproved. I HATE HATE HATE how they don't let you simply resubmit the ads you had made earlier.

I'd understand if they would make it such that the resubmit option would become available if you made some edits.. but to force me to downright make every single ad AGAIN is just so frustrating.

FUCK.

I can sometimes edit and resubmit, it seems to depend on the disapproval message.
