Hey beloved WickedFire forum users. I want to encourage all of you to get outside more. I know sitting in front of a computer day in and day out can be both profitable and somewhat fullfilling. But after being outside this weekend for just a few hours, it reminded me of how much I love nature. This is some footage of me running down the mountain I hiked up today. I busted my ass quite a few times and cut my hands pretty bad. Enjoy.

Then there's the occasional trip to the Canadian Boundary Waters in Quetico, you gotta love fresh walleye!

Unfortunately thing didn't go so well when I went hiking up the mountain with my gf a couple months back: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p2GGUvGrGUw (We had to get Search & Rescue to rescue us.. heh)

I was going to try to dig out a pic of me out backpacking, maybe another time, it's late here in AZ. I love the outdoors! With this schedule, I get off work at 9 pm so am happy to get to walk around the park near my home once in awhile! (I have no days off right now) Tonight I walked w/my daughters and watched the lightning. It was great!

I go into "outdoor withdrawls" when I don't get out much. I look forward to hiking soon now that AZ is cooling off. I hope my schedule slows within the next few months.

Where were you both hiking? What did you shoot the videos with?
 
I was hiking near Sierra Vista, AZ. Its cool enough here to hike anytime of the day. Were high up in the mountains and it remains cool with all the monsoon clouds. Shot it with my Nikon 3.1 megapixel digital camera.
 
So are you out here in AZ visiting? Even SV gets hot!

Have you been to French Joe's Canyon (its off the turnoff from I-10 to Sierra Vista)? My oldest son and I hiked and camped out under the stars there several years ago. It was around this time of the year with the rain. Saw the most beautiful rainbow at sunset!

I'm originally from IL myself.
