Yahoo Sucks Ass

did you send them an email? I had the same prob and i sent them an email bitching and about 8-10 of my pending ads were running within a few hours. Now all my ads go straight to approved :)

Yeah I have called and written email to them. They claim they had some issue lately and got it taken care of already but have been backed up with the editorial team. This is the story I have heard for 2 weeks now so who knows if it's true or not but.

As far as ads they have told me already on the phone that for my niche they always have to go through a review process and that is does depend on what niche you are promoting and that some get approved immediately. Unfortunately that's not the case with most of my campaigns...

rgordon83: thanks.

I have changed to prepaid.

I also emailed them about my $100 credit and they said they would be placing back into my account. They did not know why it disappeared. Scary.

I just opened an account with Yahoo and my payment plan was default prepaid. I'm a little confused, because during the signup it said Yahoo would automatically charge my card if more funds were needed (if account drops below three days worth of budget).

So, which is it? Are they going to charge me automatically or not?

Yahoo likes to suck, it's becoming their main profession. I just hate how they killed the question mark (and probably killed a good chunk of their own profit in the process) dumb fucks...

I guess it was an attempt to provide a better user experience like google strives to do. The difference is that yahoo is acting like googles retarded little brother.

Instead of charging you after you receive clicks, they charge you up front. For example, they'll hit your credit card for $100 and then you can spend it on clicks. When your account balance drops below three days worth of budget, they'll hit your credit card again to cover more future clicks. Makes it impossible to get you balance to $0 unless you call them to disable automatic billing.

I have to agree Yahoo sucks.

I had a free $100 credit and activated it by funding my Ysm account with $30 for a grand total of $130. I saw this amount in my account. I just wanted to test YSm, so I started a very small campign. Within two days those bastards charged my card again
for another $30. I logged in and BAM I do not see any $100 credit.

And so far the conversion rate sucks at ysm. But it sure is cheaper.

They charged your card once for $30? Guess what? They charged mine 20 times for $30, stop crying.

Either way YSM is sucking from a billing point of view, but once you get that sorted out the traffic is decent.

You know those bastards are sitting there planning on most people not figuring out their crazy ass billing setup and them BAM before you know it you just got charged $200 for some bullshit test campaign... oh yay, as a consolation gift you get $100 3 days later... Yay?

Yeah, that pisses me off, a lot. Fucking idiots.

I didn't read all the way through this post, but you can email customer service and tell them you want to set up a pre payment plan. That way they can't charge your card. You have to manually add funds. They always email me and say..."we can only do this for you one time" but they have always done this for every account I have....it really works out better when I am able to control the funding. Hope this helps.

Blessings!
