New Ranking Model to be Launched in U.S. On February 5, 2007, Yahoo! will change the way all Sponsored Search ads are ranked. Instead of just bid amount, both bid amount and ad quality will now determine an ad’s rank. You can use the quality index to help determine the relative performance of your ads.

I just noticed this in my Yahoo Account.
 


It's been making the rounds on industry blogs.

Not really a big deal... just do all you've done to deal with the adWords quality score and you'll be fine.
