xmcp123, honestly do you think that it will "all go away" if he did have the original? No. I have to give you kudos for the quote. I do follow these "stupid" reporters and I always laugh when they screw up and say something stupid.
No, I don't think it'd go away. But here's the thing: It's not actually significant.
One or two people covered the basics, then the democrats have been pulverizing it and keeping it alive.
It's a defensive technique for while they're arguing about health care. Approval for the Democrats begins slipping, so they do the
exact same thing Republicans do. They push stories that marginalize the other side to benefit them in the debate, and shift the focus of the opposition to having to defend. The opposition looks irrational in the pseudo-story, so people are less likely to agree with them on the real issues.
Idiots like Orly Taitz don't get on TV because they are 'experts'. There's been fanatical and idiotic theories like this for as long as politics have been in existence. They get coverage as part of political maneuvering and nothing else.
Does it at all strike you as odd that this is a "Republican" position, and yet there's not a single prominent republican politician supports it?
Come on guys, you're marketers. Don't fall for it.
