WP Quick Polls - Turn WordPress in to a Poll Generation Machine

I didn't receive or ask for a review copy, but he sent me a copy of this to test anyway. I have to say this software kicks ass.

I had a good looking poll lander up in literally five minutes, and that's counting the time it took to activate the plugin and install WordPress.

Building landing pages like this would take me a few hours (per LP), so for $69 this is definitely worth it.

Thanks bud. Like I said in the message, I sent you the review copy because I am a huge fan of WPReviewEngine (that's this guy's software).

If you have any suggestions / comments / ideas, please let me know. :-)

Wow, this script looks really cool. Could someone who's used the script tell me if the autogenerated content real time, or no?

Most helpful review post in history. The great detail you went into with all of the features, how the plugin works, and what results we can expect will definitely influence the buying decisions of anyone who reads this post.

It should probably be stickied, IMHO.

LOL, I hope that was sarcasm...oh ya it was..

my review coming tonight I hope! Will be helpfull I PROMISE!

It is not real time. Its generated when the poll is saved. That's a good feature request though; I'll put it on the list. The reason I decided to put it when the poll is saved is because loading real time could cause the poll to take longer to load, thus reducing your conversion rate; the content isn't for the users, its really for the search engines.

Edit: digga121, I can't wait! :-)

I will throw my 2 cents in. I am not a guru, but i do polls. And certainly i would love help being more profitable. But I can make a landing page in 2 seconds on xsite pro so I don't need software to do that. What takes the most time is finding an offer that is not scrubbed to death by all networks, and most of them seem to do it; and finding a topic where the people not only vote but buy. All that takes time and testing, and a piece of software that creates landing pages does not solve those two problems, unless I'm wrong. If I'm wrong, just tell me how this would help.

Make me some software that shows me:
1. cpa offers that convert over 10% and are not scrubbed to death;
2. markets where the voters click on my ad and I get charged but they also love to put in their email/zip so I get paid.
I will buy that software.

Thanks and good luck.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm in the process of expanding the documentation to include some very useful data with this regard. It may take a while, as I'm doing actual experiments / statistics gathering for this. I'll consider what you said (although, your suggestions specifically probably aren't implementable - at least, not at their root level), and do some thinking. :-)

That said, there's a lot of ways this plugin makes you faster / more profitable than just using a WYSIWYG. Offer rotation (with features for more complicated stuff), statistics, simple double refresh, etc.

Seems like a solid program and will help members that are in PPC-Coach's mentoring program. Below are my thoughts on the plug-in after working with it for a short time.

After the plugin installation I went through the "quick create" process and was able to have a poll up and running in a couple of minutes.
The tracking of CTR and actions within the plug-in are a nice feature.
During your Campaign creation you have the option of entering individual url's or code blocks to rotate offers for your poll participants. There is also an option to show a message and then refresh to an offer.
After your campaign is set up you then move on to creating your poll.
Poll creation is pretty straight forward, you create your poll question, select your campaign, add picture url and you are set. The last thing you do is make a post for the poll.
One thing I definitely like is how it has a spot for you to add your javascript (tracking202pro script) as opposed to having to add it in the header or install a plug-in.
The software will also auto-create "privacy policy" and "terms of services" to improve your AdWords Quality Score.
The documentation covers the many variables to tweaking the themes that come pre-packaged with the plug-in.

Benefits:
You can create polls fairly quickly without modifications.
You can do a quick duplicate of a completed poll to speed up deployment of polls.
Documentation is pretty good (see below).
Offer rotation with delay and refresh.

Handicaps:
Documentation on image usage with included themes. (still unsure of what size images it will scale to).
I would like to see more themes included.

ahtran, for your tracking202pro script, there should be a field on the manage poll screen that says "tracking (head)" and "tracking (foot)" pick one, and stick it in there. If you're unsure, head will probably work.

Edit: I just realized that said "one thing I really like" and not "one thing I wasn't sure about". Sorry. haha

Refrozen,

I bought your product eariler this week. Is it possible you can have the tool on domain1.com but publish to domain2.com? Or is the best option just to use iframe.

Also, in future updates include lots of templates please.

Thank you.

Use an iframe or install it again on domain2.com. You can run the script on as many domains as you like.

There's some new themes / theme upgrades coming in 2.0. You'll be receiving an email about this soon. :-) Free upgrade, as promised.

Joe.

Edit: send me an email if you need help. :-)

Okay, I am sorry it took so long, and it had nothing to do with the product installation, it was because I was too busy to give this fine product the time it deserved! Anyway here's my review....

this is a quick way to use the powerful and most simple cms platform out there, wordpress. Wordpress provides an easy way to create a lot of content and make life a bit easier. With wp quick polls it was easy to just create a simple poll with content right away. wp quick polls uses the power of wordpress cms to create multiple polls without changing the wordpress structure.

unlike the others I have seen, it uses digg for content. it has a separate panel to control existing polls and even update polls. each poll is created with ease and allows you to rotate offers with ease.

it was literally a 5 minute install, download, upload, activate, start - very simple to use and create. another great featur is the ability to call the poll without the full code, I can use an existing polls in a content. versatile and simple and ofcourse using the power of wordpress.

I will surely be looking forward to the updates and new themes in version 2.0! Thanks Refrozen for letting me be a reviewer!

Digga.

Thanks for the review, Digga. You can use other sources than Digg! Digg is just the default for the quick create, because they look the best. In the next version, you'll be able to properly integrate polls in to posts rather than using it within the broader themes - of course, there's not a lot of reason people would want to do that, its a feature people have requested.

Thanks for the positive review. :-)
