ok this is a pretty general question but one i have not seen in this forum.

would you take a slight payout decrease to run with a network you like better? both networks pay on time and pay biweekly wire xfers...but i have history with one of the networks and i love their backend and reporting.

is it worth it to you to take the slightly less payout? i am leaning towards yes.

EDIT: title says "better" network...but i mean one you "like better"

If you have some history with one network, why don't you just ask them to match the payout you're getting from the other one? Assuming that you've sent some decent traffic in the past, convincing them shouldn't be a problem.

they just reduced their payout (network wide)...so i got a bump from that but its still less than the other network...this question was assuming the CPA's are fixed.

Payouts really isn't everything, it should only be a factor for running an offer on a specific network. I'm 100% sure that if you keep tossing traffic at this network you have a relationship with, that they will match the other network's payout.

Actually I once read an article about employees taking a pay cut for better treatment, and most said they would. Although you aren't an employee you are a contractor. If the feeling you get from the other network is better than more money in your pocket go for it. Is the way you feel the only deciding factor?

yes and i do. being loyal has afforded me preferential treatment especially when new offers are on the horizon. losing a dollar or two per lead pales into insignificance when you get the heads up on something big and bank 20k+ before the competition get wind or the offer gets farmed out to other networks.

Hello friend,

The answer is very simple. Just ask yourself this, would you prefer to pray to Mitra at night or would you rather pray to Lakshmi?

Once you figure out, you will know your answer.

Good luck bro and may Lord Vishnu watch over you as well.

Yeah, I'll stick to the networks I like most of the time. I switch a few outsiders in and out, but to me the stability of one or two core networks is worth it. I know the tendencies of these networks, know what I'll get notified about and know what I won't.. So everything just runs smoother. As long as they payout is close at least, fuck it.
I find I'm spreading out more lately though. So whatever.

It depends how much extra work it is for you because of the one network's bad reporting. I'd say for me I would go with the one with a higher payout and worse reporting, but I would keep complaining about the reporting until they fix it or tell me to be quiet lol.

split test one network against the other. see if one is converting any better than the other, if one is killing the other one I'd take it cuz the losing network might be shaving leads. if they're both the same / similar go with the one you like better.

Assuming both networks track the same, tell the lower paying like-better network you are getting $X.XX at another network and you want to match. If they can't match because they aren't getting enough, what they might be getting is the shaft from the end merchant and this might prompt them into having a frank discussion with the merchant about rates.

Sadly, some merchants are notorious for dicking around with rates from one network to another. I've never quite understood the value of that, but that's the way it is.

I would go with a network that you like even if the payouts are slightly lower. This is something I have learned a long time ago is always work with folks you like the most...

Hello friend,

You are a fucking retard.

Thanks bro.

I've stayed with Neverblue for a number of offers even though I could get slightly better payouts elsewhere. Their online interface is the best I've dealt with, and they've been treating me well since I joined them in 2007. I also have a good working relationship with with my cool AMs, Tina and Clayton.

Likewise I've also stayed with CPA Empire for a few offers because of my awesome AM Brittany, even though their DT interface blows and it's frickin SLOOOOOWWW. I hate that junk.

So yeah ... loyalty does factor in when deciding which network to run with.

Judge the EPC not the payout. Also yes, i think you should run at the network you like better and are more comfortable with assuming you are making just about the same money. Relationships are everything in this biz.

Thanks, you made my day. I feel a lot safer now!

@topic:
I'd go with the network you like more since you may become scrubbed by the better paying network. Split test.

Good answer bro. First test and see what you come up with. But working with a network you can trust and you have history with is very important. Especially if you're already in tight with your AM and he/she treats you well.
