I recall reading on WF during one of the recent Acai slaps about some landers getting dinged because the website was all blog content.

So, all of the sudden I cant get any of my blogs out of the Poor 4/10 area. These are not diet, or the fake testimonial blogs, just using Wordpress for the lander and having content as well.

Each blog has about 50-100 pieces of content spread over a years worth of dates, sitemaps, privacy policy, etc.

I ran some adds to some known sites (like a true.com, etc) and was able to get greats and create traffic, so my account is not screwed at least.

Any thoughts?

Those Acai blogs being slapped had nothing to do with Wordpress. They got slapped because so many visitors and adsense publishers complained about them.

My wordpress shit is dandy, no problems at all.

Like pocketrockets said, I think it's more to do with the complaints about acai in particular than wordpress its self.

This isn't Acai or Wordpress related, but about the use of blog content only as the content of the site (landing page + rest of site being a blog).

I was one of those slapped for NON-diet related blog-style landing page linked to a blog on the same domain, and was told by Google the low QS was given simply because the site was nothing but a blog.

When I re-launched the landing page on another domain (also having WP as the back-end) but this time with a standalone php LP, I got 7 to 10 QS scores.

So does Google specify what it calls "blog" content. Text is text, how does it determine it's a blog? WTF is a blog anyways but a group of articles arranged in an easy to navigate fashion?

Using the same logic, you could say about.com is just one big blog as well.

well considering your wordpress version is in the source code and everything related to the file structure has "wp" in it, I would say it is pretty easy.

I don't know why every makes these threads about acai, the OP didn't so why doesn't everyone else run in here and start bringing it up. There are a lot of other things that are getting slapped.

You mean you still had a separate LP under that wordpress blog or you used a wordpress page as an lp?

For my campaigns, I have a Wordpress blog with the usual posts and pages.
Then, on the same domain, I upload an independent html/php landing page that I create in Dreamweaver. Lastly, I interlink the landing page(s) and the blog posts with some links here and there.
