I got to test out WiseBanner - I'm not a designer. My Photoshop skills are "basic" at best. I usually outsource banners.

Anyway, I wanted to try it out, both because it'd be nice to be able to quickly deploy banners or split test creatives myself, and to give Dreamache some feedback on the user experience from a non-designer.

In short, it's awesome.

You pick a template, plug in graphics if you want, play with the pre-made gradients for a second, write your banner text and run the actions. And in literally a few minutes (probably less if you're a designer) you have professional looking banners in all of the most common sizes.

It's great. It works exactly as advertised.

Dreamache put together some really great step-by-step training videos. I actually learned a lot about Photoshop going through them. They definitely make it idiot proof, you can just watch him do it and follow along.

For non-designers like me it's a great way to get banners deployed quickly when you don't want to wait for your designer to get back to you.

And I'd imagine this would be a HUGE time saver for designers who do any banner design work.

It's definitely worth the money if you spend any time designing banners (or would like to start). It performs exactly as advertised, and if quick/high quality banners are what you need, it delivers, and I highly recommend it.

I don't think I've posted a product/service review on Wickedfire in years. There's very few products that I'd be willing to put my reputation on the line for - this is a tool I have zero hesitation recommending.

Great job man! And I hope that helps anyone who's wondering if it's right for them.

Alright, so I had to buy this just because Gary is cool as fuck. And most of the time knows what he's upto.

I wouldn't say I was looking for something like this, simply because I had no idea something like this could be possible. I've worked with a tonne of UI kits over the years, but I almost always stop short when it comes to getting banners. And people who know me, know that I keep needing a ton of banners every now and then, simply because some people from out here got me big into media buying. :)

So as I prepared myself to load a bunch of banners on to one of my accounts, I stumbled upon this thread and immediately knew I had to buy this.

Got the files within seconds of the payment. Read the readme and had the script installed within 5 minutes flat of getting them in. Downloaded one of the presets and basically dragged all the layers from the existing banners onto the preset. Hit play on the action button and BOOM! Fucking Magic.

Spent the next few minutes tweaking the font size and the alignments to my liking and lo and behold - 15 animated banners in less than 20 minutes.

So essentially, I downloaded Wisebanners, read the read me, installed it, edited it, ran Wisebanners & exported my banners - all within 30 minutes. And that is a pretty fucking cool productivity boost.

Ratings - 5/5
