The only downside to that is that a lot of forums don't allow images in their sigs. So maybe creating a WickedFire text bar would be a good option as well.

What do you mean Jon? That is a major downfall about the forums not allowing images. I created TopSig (sold it a few months later) and one downfall that I didn't really see coming was that most forums don't allow you to images in your signature.

What do you mean by text bar though?

A text bar meaning the same thing, but to replace the WF image, maybe larger text in bold and in the WF color scheme.

Well sure you could have a text link in your sig for wickedfire. But not this AIM status thing, that would have to be done with javascript or serverside then, and I guess that wouldn't be allowed.
