Who quoted me

I'd love to see this hack installed here. I'm running it on my biggest board(40k+ members) and the members love it.

How does it work?

1. John quotes Paris in a reply and also quotes Nicole.
2. The hack recognizes that John's quoting Paris and Nicole and adds 2 entries to the quotedata table.
3. Paris and Nicole can see in their "Who Quoted Me?" page that John has quoted their post.
4. Paris wants to see the post with her quoted on and she clicks the link. She is brought to the post!
5. Everyone is happy and John enjoys a Chalupa from Taco Bell.*

It's really great to keep track of your Postings.

It's adding one single query when submitting a thread/post, so it's no big deal.. (And one query whenever you call the Who Quoted me List)

This would be helpful. After I reached a certain number of posts it really became difficult to keep up with all of the people quoting me.

It lets you see that you're quoted, boosts your ego and gives you an opportunity to respond to the responder, all from the comfort of your own control panel!

Exactly, you can keep track of all your conversations and you don't miss whenever someone responded to you in a thread.

It's way more comfortable than Subscriptions. It's working with latest VB, using it here: www.musiker-board.de/vb
