I would have done a poll but, A) I have no idea who would be the best choices to include, and would probably leave some bright peeps out by mistake, and B) I really hate polls.

Who is/are the smartest WF member(s) on here, in your opinion? Obviously, if you haven't met most of your WF peers in person, you base it on their posts. People tend to think the "smartest" are the ones that agree most with their point of view, or post alot with things that sound reasonably educated, but I wonder what the general consensus is of "smart" among the membership at large. I know all of us have (often vocal) views of who the idiots are, but here's your chance to give a shout-out to who you think is actually a bright person, (besides just the private "give rep/I approve" feedback method).

I've met a fair amount of WFers in person, and I've been surprised to learn that some that I thought were super-smart from their posts turn out to be a little slow, while others I would have assumed were special-ed are actually bright at a whole notha' level.

My votes; Eli (Deliguy) is pretty bright in his industry, I think Papajohn has a good grasp, affiliatearmy and grindstone know their shit, Jon of course, aaronklaw isn't nearly as dumb as I tell him he is on the phone, guerilla has some logic behind his ranting, and I think Bofu has his shit together too. I'm leaving some out for now, but what's everybody's views?
 


Doesn't matter.

1. Smarter the person, the less they'll divulge in public.

2. You can always hire smarter people.`

Intelligence is so subjective, I think it would be impossible to ascertain such information on WF members. That is unless you want to quantify intelligence and have everyone take an IQ test, and even then that would only tell us so much (it won't tell us anything about one's IM skills).

To me intelligence should be measured more by one's willingness to learn. Because nobody can know everything, but as long as they keep learning, then they keep growing, mentally.

Agreed, that's why it is completely a subjective question.

Although I'd pay good money to get all WF members cornered in a room with a standardized IQ test and a timer, I bet that would resolve a lot of the negative arguments that occur here on a daily basis in a hurry ;)

So I'll say the smartest member is: Dark Cognitive. Helps me out a lot and never gives up.

I like how whenever intelligence comes up on forums, even WF, everyone busts out the proper grammar/punctuation and faggots like you open with words like "ascertain"... as if any of this is natural speech for this environment. I'm not even sure if this is just multi-layered satire or if you guys really are that lame. :thumbsup:

Clearly the answer is Ryan Eagle anyway.
