This image shows two ads I've put on Myspace.

Both have the same demographics, the same image ad, only thing different was the bid price. The bottom ad is from legit clicks and had a higher cpc.

The top ad... well.. WTF happened there?

The first ads clicks were over a couple days. The first happened over the last 5 hours while I was out of the house.

My tracking shows I got 600 clicks to this ad, with filtered clicks as well.

It's obvious that someone is click frauding out there.

Has anyone else dealt with click fraud on Myspace? Who can I contact to immediately resolve this problem? Any advice here would be appreciated!

We believe we received a ton of fraudulent clicks as well. We have contacted our account manager but he was not in the office. The only other time we had an issue they resolved it in a way we were happy with.

Doesn't sound like you have an account manager? PM if you don't and I will see if I can put you in contact with mine.

I dont have an account manager because I've just kind of started up with Myspace after a long hiatus, but if you can put me in touch that'd be awesome!

hey justin i have a AM there that is super cool and helps me out all the time but i rather not put his email up on the forum like that, pm me or im me on aim and ill hook u up .

Same thing going on with me... If you unpause that campaign I bet it'll get even worse. Like this 14% ctr...

They should do more about it, especially when there's only one advertiser really dominating the main niche that this is happening in.

I've managed to sign up to a few 'US only' services(myads, bidplacesb etc), when it comes to address, i just grab any random US address, and even though the postcode doesnt match my CC billing code, it still works!(i dont even use a proxy to sign up either) Go credit card verification! :)
