Okay, yeah, this topic has been surely beaten to death, but I'd like some honest responses... If that's possible, sans the sarcasm, TYVM.

I have numerous "adult" sites that are best described as "micro-niche." Everything from incest to pissing... Yeah, good family-fun stuff. (I thought I was a pervert until I discovered the Internet. Honestly. Now, I realize I'm sexually normal.)

Anyway, I've been running affiliate campaigns, and most are zero-for-infinity for sales... Which, yeah, sucks.

Only one pays off, at about 250:1 conversion rate.

Anyone, who's telling, want to let us in on what affiliate products are really converting these days...?

TIA

What have you promoted? I've heard porn doesn't really convert as well unless you hit a good niche. Try promoting something like Fling or Adult Friend Finder.

i.e. Click Here to Meet Hot Locals Who Want to Piss On You!

Thanks for your input, Von; it is appreciated...

I've tried cams, dating, Friend Finder's, etcetera; Specific-based genres based on exact-said, sexual-perversities...

Anyone else...?

Or is porn-based conversions a dying breed? C'mon, porn created the movie industry, the VHS industry, and the Internet industry... It can't be dead yet...

Screw affiliate marketing for xxx - perhaps consider producing your own very very exclusive and high-quality stuff coupled with a preparedness to aggressively issue and follow up on DMCA requests?

I've got no experience in this industry - I just think met-art is a brilliant example of a winner in a saturated market that was supposedly dealt its final blow by the likes of youporn and redtube. Note how also that searching for "met art" on redtube returns 0 results (vigilant enforcement against copyright infringement).

1:250 isn't all that bad (sadly).

Adult has become very difficult to make a buck in, but it can be done. My last adult niche blog was making $600-900 a month and I never bought a single link. And it wasn't a weirdo niche either.

Choosing a niche is important but I'd say your choice of sites within that niche to promote and your source(s) of traffic are more important. My top site when I was in that niche was one that hadn't added new content in over a year, had a shitty layout and tour, and didn't produce any of their own stuff (just clips from existing movies). Plus, if you're trading or buying traffic, you'd better be running a network of webcam sites or something because that traffic is usually worthless.
