Where were you on 9-11-01?

12th grade, some discretionary reading class, not sure what they called it. one of those easy a classes where you just read a few books then write one or two reports for the semester.

I remember everyone freaking out later in the afternoon, some jets flew over the area (dayton, ohio) and generated a sonic boom. We were in the house watching the news, and the whole house and ground shook. Ran outside, and a few seconds later, ground shook again. Freaked everyone out.

Local news lost all credibility that day. They reported a small brush fire as a fourth hijacked airplane crashed, and even went so far as to reporting that the VA hospital had just gotten hit by a plane too. Was ridiculous how irresponsible and disrespectful the local news was that day, at the very least, they could have made a few phone calls to fact check before reporting things like that.

9th grade homeroom when I found out, had my mother pick me up after bitching out the administration because they said "staying there was safer". Was a funny scene.

Then drove home. Don't remember the rest of the day.

I am 15 by that time and is in school when the news broke up. All stopped with their current work and went out to the cafeteria to watch news. It was very horrible. I could feel the anger and sympathy to the victims. Even though it happened ten years ago but the feeling that it just happened recently is still there. Could not forget the worst US attack in the history.

DAMN SONS - all this shit about 5th, 7th, 9th, 10th grade. You all some young ass pups.

I was working in a bike shop as manager at the time, just got into work and was walking down the hallway when I heard it on the radio. This was when the first tower got hit so I shrugged it off as an accident. A while later I heard about the 2nd tower and Pentagon and then later in the day the Penn. event.

I've never forgotten about it.

Koh Samui. Walked into a bar in the evening as I think it was about 11hrs ahead of US. Could not believe what I was watching. Really strange eery feeling being on a paradise island when all that death and destruction was going on. Really sad day.

I was at work and heard what happened over the radio. At lunch my boss and I went to the nearest Pub to watch it on the big screen. Devastating to watch. My condolences to anyone who lost a family member that day.

i remember that horrible day clearly just like yesterday!i remember just came back from college when i saw every one of my family members watching news on tv intently.my parents are dialing numbers frantically trying to reach my uncle & cousins who lives in new york to know if they are OK(thankfully they were).

highschool junior year. Principal came on over the loud speakers and said something like, "We're Americans and damn tough." along with other sage advice... still had school that day but all the TVs were on and not much else got done.

I was getting ready leave the house for work when my (then fiancee) had the T.V when the first plane hit and she yelled for me to come in and watch. I ended up watching coverage from home for a couple of hours before I drove up to OC and see what was going on at work. I was a fleet manager at a south orange county Chrysler dealer at the time. We had a t.v. on in our office so we were able to keep up on what was going on. I don't think our phones rang the rest of that day or even the next couple of days. It was like the world had stopped.

It was my 13th Birthday, I woke up my mammy made some killer (no pun intended) Biscuits and gravy, digging down, turned on the TV and both towers fell like 10 min before.. I was living in bumfuck Missouri then, we had like 12 guns and about 5 thousand rounds of ammo, we where ready.

But really if you take a look at Americas army vs every other country, especially a rag tag group of fuck tards. they can only get us with these little jabs. we can remove them from the planet, which is why I'm confident the whole thing was a setup, no one is stupid enough to attack american soil for the last 30 years.

Senior year in High School I think. Was in independent art study (a class where you get to work alone on your own stuff because you've been though enough of the curriculum). Remember chilling out on a big art table watching the second tower go town. Then they didn't want us watching it anymore.

I can't believe it's been ten years since 9-11. My question to you all is do you remember where you were on September 11, 2001 when you heard the news about the terrorist attacks? I was at work when I got a phone call from a co-worker that said a plane crashed into one of the world trade center towers. I thought it was an accident. But then when the second plane hit and then hearing about a plane hitting the pentagon I literally got a chill up my spine.

At this time im watching CNN and that was Live.... wondering what happened and WHy..
