Where do you go to think? Or, where are you most frequently hit with sudden flashes of inspiration?

I do my best thinking in the shower.

Laying in my pool. Driving. When I'm trying to fall asleep. On the shitter. In the shower. When I first wake up. At the beach. Basically, anytime I have some level of uninterrupted tranquility w/ little to no distractions for a semi-sustained amount of time - like more than 10 minutes.

My giant bean bag. It's like relaxing on top of a really fat person covered in velvet.

tub, bed, nature walks, mysterious bouts of religious ecstasy and whenever i listen to Captain Beefheart. i've written music in my sleep.

good song for creativity:

Actually a lot of my inspiration comes while sleeping/dreaming.

The rest of my inspiration comes in the 1-2 hours before I go to bed. I don't think my brain works before 10PM.

Usually when doing a repetitive job. I would daydream/think all the time when I was working in a factory.

My family's cabin in northern wisconsin. It's on an indian reservation. I don't know if that has anything to do with it but everyone that goes up there says they have the most vivid and crazy dreams they've ever had. Maybe it's just the fresh air and silence but the last time I went there I took my laptop and got more work done in one weekend than I've done in the past couple months.
