I've read some posts here on WickedFire but it's kinda confusing jumping from different topics and most don't really go into detail. I liked some of the stuff I saw in some guys 3000th post thread but I can't seem to find it again. Anyone have some resources for beginners such as what backlinks are and how to utilize them, information on niches and how to find the right one for you, etc? And yes, I've Googled some of these but I don't find very good resources.

So, you're a total beginner? Have you ever registered a domain or created a site of any kind?
I'm not that much of a beginner but I don't know much about backlinks, getting traffic, SEO and such. I've registered multiple domains and I've had/have websites.
I clicked that link and I got some sort of error but looking at the UrbanDictionary definition I'm glad that happened.
"A web page that is actually 2 guys f***ing each other up the ass and counting how many times the guy's dick spins. FOR QUEERS ONLY"
Well, I kinda want to get into starting niche sites but I don't want to invest when I have no idea what I'm doing. That's why I want to learn SEO and other techniques to getting traffic.

I would read EVERY thread in the Newbie section, and take some notes, because it's a lot of information. This forum is great, but you need to ask SPECIFIC questions if you want answers.
For example:
"how come my site isn't making any money?" is not really a question, "what are some alternatives to Adsense?" is.
In many, many, MANY cases, the question you have will have been answered in a previous thread or post, especially if you are new, so be sure to search WF thoroughly before creating a thread to ask a question.
Overall, WF is a great place to learn if you know what you are trying to learn and don't mind getting slapped in the face with an occasional hammer.

For backlinks its good to have some good sites with them we can have a link exchange campaign for do follow permanent backlinks. Offpage submission as direcories, Articles submission and you can also take part in forums and social networking sites to start up a promotion campaign.
