What's Your Favorite Affiliate Network?

Right I am looking at networks like Commission Junction/Clickbank. My thing with Clickbank is that most of their products in the marketplace are the kind of rip-offs services that I would personally never pay for or consider endorsing.

I'm looking for products that can actually be shipped and that have some marketable useful quality.

Commission junction pretty much only deals with real products. You can set it up to be an affiliate, drive sales to just about any retailer you want, and collect the referral commissions. You never have to handle products, or ship them, or even bill them.

The downside is that all you earn is the referral commission which ranges from about 4% to 15%. Average is about 7%.

You also have to be accepted by the merchant and commission junction.

And you have to generate a minimum amount of sales each month. It's actually pretty low but if you don't hit the threshold CJ will close your account. If they owe you less than $50 they won't ever send it to you. They charge you a monthly fee until the money is gone after a couple of months of "inactivity"

So, be sure you can earn more than $50 per month in affiliate commission before you sign up.

Scififisher I was signing up and I hit this message:

Is Affiliate Marketing at CJ right for you?

Do you participate in other forms of online marketing?
Do you generate over $1,000,000 in online sales or over 10,000 online leads annually?
Has your site been online for a minimum of one year?
If you answered YES to these questions, please proceed and tell us a little more about yourself and your goals for this channel. If not, please contact us in the future once you meet this criteria, or take at a look at our publisher information to see if that better fits your business model.

I don't generate half of that amount a year in sales or leads is that a real requirement?

They have two ways to be a CJ affiliate. for the smaller sites you sign up as a publisher. It works sort of like amazon except you find brands/companies on CJ who are willing to let you place the CJ generated code for the specific products on your site. If someone comes to your site and clicks through and purchases from the company you earn the affiliate commission.

I recommend that you read what they have to say about becoming a publisher as they phrase it. I haven't actually worked with CJ for almost a year now. And the way things change on the internet they may have totally changed the model. ;)

Fluent is a great affiliate network! They have higher payouts then many others and have good reviews on affpay etc. Their affiliate network is called Affluent.
