Of course in a perfect rainbow world you're right. Everyone's death should be equally news worthy. But I don't know what fantasy land you think you're living in. People are not equal and people don't care equally about everyone's death. It's like you're saying a presidential assassination should be overshadowed by the 90 yr old neighbor having a heart attack on the 10 o'clock news. Grow up.

Your totally right. I should grow up and stop 'seeing a rainbow world' where the media has an agenda. I'm so immature in believing that propaganda exists, that there are elites, that those elites have interests and that they use the media to push them.

One day, we'll all be 'grown up like you'. It must be awesome to be grown up like you. Hopefully one day I too will not cynical and jaded and I'll be moved into hatting those the media tells me to when they tell me to do so. Then I'll be all cool and 'up to date on the important events'

In the meantime, let me finish watching these anti-Russian 'news' pieces from the cold war; our overloads aren't spreading enough hate... and I certainly wouldn't want to direct it at those who directly try to manipulate me; much easier to direct hate at foreigners.

Who's beating the war drums for Iran the loudest? Extreme Christians. Some of them would be ecstatic to see younger generations getting drafted to go defend Israel, whether or not Israel initiates the hostilities.

There is no difference between what the extreme Muslims are doing and what the extreme Christians are doing. They are both killing innocent people and not caring a damn bit about it.

There's a HUGE difference. The Western powers are doing it for geopolitical, natural resource, and financial reasons -- not because they think that's what Jesus would want. Whereas in the Middle East, much of it has to do purely with religion, and nothing else.

I don't get people who compare the Western world and Christianity to the Middle East and Islam. What's written in the bible has absolutely no bearing on the Pentagon's decisions, whereas what's written in the Quaran (sp) has loads of bearing on their governments' decisions.
