What Time Do You Wake Up?

I get up at 4-6am depending on where I have to work that day. The earlier I start, usually the later I get off. Then I come home and go to school, then work on internet stuff, and sometimes go to the gym if I have time- and get to bed around 12ish.

On Friday night I fall asleep at like 7 or 8 sometimes, but Saturday night, when I'm rested, I go to bed at 3-4 then start the bullshit all over Sunday night.

Workin for the man fuckin blows ass.

Yeah, that was my fault. I made the knucklehead (newbie) mistake of not searching the forum before starting the thread.

That said, I'm blown away (envious, actually) by the schedules some of you keep and how productive you can be at those hours.

I've been slowly moving myself toward the goal of waking at 4:30. I'm pushing the alarm clock back 15 minutes every few nights (if I do it "cold turkey," I fear my body will go into shock and expel all sorts of strange fluids).

Years ago, I used to get up at 4:30 each morning. This was when I was working in Corporate America. I got a ton done before going into the office. I relished it because the work I did in the morning translated directly into a lot of money in the bank (the story won't win me any fans, so I won't bore you with it). I make more money these days, but I know I'm spinning my wheels and working harder needlessly because of my lack of productivity.

I remember what it was like back then. I got more done by 8:00 a.m. each day than most people I knew accomplished the entire day and evening.

Man, I want to get back to that.
 
You'll find that being awake almost entirely during night hours is gonna get to you real bad.

6:30 - 7:00 AM. I have a 1 yr old that's on schedule about 100% of the time.

Doesn't matter what time Dad went to bed.... he's ready to go at the crack of dawn.

Me: Please, can I sleep another hour? Dad was up spamming Google all night so you can go to college one day.

Son: Daddy! Ball!!! Hi...! Ball! Daddy!!

Me: Okay, fine... let's go play ball...first let me brew some coffee...

...And my day starts.
 
I am a night owl and stay up til around 2 or 3 and don't get up until maybe 11 the next day. I just love to work at night.
