What Phone best suits the Affiliate Marketer?

Hello friends,

I've raped my blackberry 8310 to the ground after having (ab)used it for 2 years and I think it's finally time to get a new phone.

I like the N900 as well. 3g + browser + flash + bit torrent, ftp, vnc, shell all in 1 thing...(not to mention 32GB internal memory expandable by SSD + the regular bells & whistles) Who needs a phone?

This is the only other phone I'm considering even though it's so ancient:

Nice photo phone collection. When you get your smart phone, switch from Verizon to Page Plus Cellular. They use the same network and have and unlimited plan for $45 bucks. Then try our EZ Dial app to call your offshore staff while on the go.

Service cost. Follows from above. You think $66 is cheap? I run on T-Mobile's Even More+ plan with 500 minutes, unlimited nights, wkends and T-Mo to T-Mo and NO CONTRACT for $30/month + $10 for unlimited 3G data. I don't use text, it all goes over data IM. And other than my iPhone friends, who always complain about how badly At&T sucks, I'm very happy with T-Mo's service. $40 total - totally official, no "unlocking" necessary.

That means business to me.
Hope you're not leaving a major city, or else you're fucked when it comes to T-Mobile coverage. Same for AT&T. Verizon + blackberry = business standard. Might cost more, but it's worth it. Need it worldwide? Blackberry Tour.

I do travel a lot actually. Don't seem to have real problems with coverage except inside some big buildings or tunnels. Although I have to admit that I rarely travel to the countryside, mostly other major cities. Works on the Tahoe ski slopes though. :-)

Verizon is a non-starter for me because it's not GSM. I travel a lot internationally too and pretty much the whole world other than Japan and the USA runs on GSM. Need to be able to roam with my US SIM and also to use local SIMs.

Seems the Tour is able to do that, maybe I'll look into it when my N900 wears out one day. But it's kinda limiting when your choices are 1 phone.
