As an entrepreneur

I’ve been exceptionally lazy. Money isn’t much of an incentive for me as I have all I want and like having low overhead.

The issue is most of my earnings come from a few cash cows. If the biggest one tanks I’ll be in trouble.

As a graphic designer

Recently busted open the old portfolio and realized most of the design work I’ve done is somewhere inbetween poor and mediocre. Time has also crippled it, as much of it now looks dated. To top it off the bar for polished creative work keeps inching up.

I can deal with less than perfect productivity, or earning potential that hasn’t been maximized. It’s coming to terms with the fact my past work isn’t as good as it could be that leaves a mark.

Doing great design work requires:

1) A reasonable client
2) Wiliness to take a risk on an idea the client might hate
3) Ability to educate the client when necessary without coming off like a know-it-all
4) Ability to sell and rationalize the work

No more excuses.

Things to improve:
-Meditation to improve my ability to stay calm and concentrate on tasks.

30% which I attribute to my recent decrease in fitness level and inability to sleep well.

Any recommendations on some how to's? I'd like to try a little meditation in the morning before I get crackin on work. If anything, I figure it could help with focus.

I haven't done anything in 2 weeks except refresh stats. Mods please ban me for another month and this time don't let me use proxies.

Thanks
