May be in the minority here but I look at vehicles like liabilities that fortunately gets me from point a to point b and can carry all my gear. Thus I drive a minivan & a Taurus. Spend 10k on a media buy, no problem but putting that down on a car that will end up in the rust heap burns my a**

Just got a BMW 2008 335i with the premium sport package.

Probably get the Dinan installed next summer at the dealer, no other Mods for me, too many stories on BMW NA removing the warranty for BMW Mods. Dinan is allowed by BMW NA, and Dinan will give you added warranty protection.

Absolutely seconded.
I recently got a car. Everyone who knows me was trying to get me to get a really nice, high class car.
I wanted a 2002 Saturn(which I got). It looks like new, is light on gas, and gets me from point A to point B. Plus if I crash it I won't feel like I just burned a lot of cash.

I used to drive around a 2000 Saturn SL1 for a long time. Not a bad car. Plastic paneling rocks.

Hopefully I'll be in a 2005-2006 Subaru WRX STi in the next year or two. The thing is that they cost around 100,000 dollars in Thailand. >.<

Also looking into one of the new GTRs. They look amazing in pictures and just wicked in person.

I'll set a realistic goal for myself, though. Hopefully, within 6 months or so I'll have an 88 - 90 Toyota Celica and mod it out. I drove one when I lived in America and miss it to fuck. Not the fastest, but it is extremely quick and nimble put in a small package. They start around 5000 - 10,000 dollars here. I bought mine in America for 2,500. Damn taxes.
