I dont mean making money, thats too easy an answer.

Me, I want a house overlooking the sea with indoor swimmingpool. My own island would be nice. Then the time to enjoy it.

Obviously I need the money / income to get that but it is something physical to work towards.

I just want the freedom to do what I want to do when I want to do it.
Amen - Discretionary Time and Disposable Income.

Plus a cabin in the moutains and a small ranch in mexico (Summer/Winter) would be a good bump as well.

It is hard for some to get motivated over money though - In my twenties - I made and lost a lot of money and that "Stick or Carrot" thing only plays out so far..it takes some real dramatic revelation to get going again..or surviving life for others is the success in the end.

Yeah, I'll second (or third) the freedom thing. I don't ever want to work for somebody else.

I can't say I really do anything for the money although I don't complain when I get it. I love the challenge of trying to getting something to work, tweaking it, moding it, changing things and see how it performs. I find that very rewarding when you start to see the success and it just motivates you even more.

A big house with a huge garden in a nice neighbourhood and financial freedom.

A boat and my own island would be nice too.. But I checked the prices of soms islands on a website a couple of days ago and it looks like just a few million dollars won't buy you anything decent :D .

Make enough money to lead a comfortable, happy life without having to worry about financial stuff.

Should I make enough money to buy an island/porsche/whatever in the process, so be it. :)

I want my own company, I want never to loose the passion to learn new things, I want the "adventure" to continue till my last day... and of course as much millions as possible  that can solve nice house/car problem...

I love travel.

I want to be able to work from anywhere in the world and now I can do that!

Mine are:

1. take care of my family so my parents can retire
2. let my wife quit working
3. have freedom that very few can actually enjoy
4. not work for the "man"
5. travel like a mofo..next on the todo list is Italy then Japan!
6. help my friends and family
7. buy a Lamborghini Murcielago
8. buy a Ferrari Enzo
9. buy a Castle
10. buy a Global Express

:)

I'd like to amend my earlier answer to include the above. A castle would indeed be kick ass. :p
why would anyone want to live in a castle? what are you fortifying yourself from? the IRS?

Why would anyone want to live anywhere? Because they like it.

And anyway, the castle will just be a weekend thing, I don't think I'll be staying there all the time. :p
