i might be able to pick up a 3 character .com. although what do they usually go for? obviously i can't reveal the name, but i can say that it does not contain any numbers, nor does it contain any characters that aren't used often like x,y,z,q, etc. i suppose i can say it's 3 common letters, has no vowels, and it doesn't spell out anything (i.e. nothing like pop.com)

4k thats it? i'm offering about 7x that. i thought due to the scarcity of 3 character .coms i could probably buy and sell mid to high $xx,xxx. or maybe not now but in 5 years.
They start at 4k but the sky's the limit really. All depends on the letter combo and if it means anything, is an abbreviation or popular acronym, etc. as you can see by the list of sales on the aforementioned website...

Who's the likely end user, you or do you wish to resell?
What are the comp sales going back 2-4 years?
What kind of traffic does it get and can it be monetized outside of PPC?
Any public companies bought similar domains (you can search the Edgar database to hunt down this info)?

Lastly, TRAFFIC is happening next month and if you register before the 1st you only have to pay $1795 vs $1995 from the first on. They'll be VCs there this year and the highest end buyers who all look to do deals.
