Hi guys,

I'm curious to know what you look for in a network?

Is it weekly or daily payouts? Friendly service? Are you looking only at the offers we can provide?

Being the affiliate manager at a network, I'm always trying to better our customer service so I'd like some feedback on what you guys think.

Much appreciated.

May be for better affilate network, best thing is Friendly service and Ofcourse High payouts :)

And skypee toll free calling service and payout througt paypal.

have a good day

Weekly/daily payouts are very important. I won't work with a network that doesn't offer this with volume and only pays net 30 or worse.

High payouts are a good starting point, but in reality its all about the overall EPC and offers must be split tested. Of course offering a high payout will only improve the EPC.

Wire payments definitely preferred to Paypal/cheque/etc.

Friendly service, attentive and knowledgeable AM are also very important.

Probably some other stuff that I can't think of right now.. :)

I think it would be nice if more affiliate managers reached out to newer affiliates the same way they do with their top affiliates. It's kind of shitty when you sign up to a network, tell them how you're running traffic and they just say "OK" without telling you which offers are performing especially well with that traffic source or methods they know of to promote those offers.

I'm not saying I always need that type of assistance, but affiliate managers really should take a more active role in their affiliate's business. If the affiliate is bothered by it, they can tell the manager, but I think managers should initially assume that affiliates will be receptive to their input. Not being proactive really makes a lot of AMs seem inept to me. Since it's a partnership, it shouldn't always be the affiliate who does the "reaching out".

Great comment. I believe the same. The little guys need to support of the affiliate managers.

hope you don't mind the spotlight here but i'm curious jamie, how do you support your affiliates?

i believe that motivational support is lacking for most AMs.
and i would totally sign up+recommend any network that offered a series of email/video motivationals for new affiliates.
might could even weasel some nuts and bolts how-to in there. educate and inspire. can you deliver?

  • Weekly wire payments;
  • Easily reachable AMs (carry a Blackberry on weekends);
  • Specific offers that I'm already pushing.

I cannot promise to send you videos on how to succeed in affiliate marketing. I'm not going to lie. My theory is that motivation is key. In any business you struggle to reach the desired numbers and sometimes you lose motivation because of it. My job is to keep you motivated and help you out as much as I can with the resources at my disposal.

The reason why I will invest my time and effort and keep you motivated is because I know the potential that can be achieved and that the rewards far outweigh the efforts put in.

honestly i find that if u work using not just your brains but your heart ... you will really build amazing relationships with your affiliates

what i mean by that is, if you truly care about your affiliate, if you truly care about his benefit as if it was 100% your own ... basically treat him as if you were dealing with your own self, wholeheartedly, you will really succeed in this business ... and i mean big time success

people will sense right away if u care about ur personal interest over theirs, people sense right away dishonesty and fakeness

i guarantee you that if you are 100% real with the people that bring u business, you will have so much business you wont even know what to do with it....

that is my answer to this type of question, if someone would ask me, what do you look for in a business partner, this would be my answer

i was just telling my affiliate today ... it takes just 1 mistake in this business ... and your reputation goes down the drain

be real, profit will follow, be fake and greedy and i guarantee you you will choke on your own self sooner or later

i will let affiliates answer directly your question, but i just wanted to add my 2 cents

In terms of payments: Its amazingly easy for us to send you money. And trust me, we want to pay you so you're happy. We do weekly wires but at the same time if you need money on a given day we'll take care of you. Just ask me and I'll set you up no questions asked. ;)
