Promote the exact same thing I promote. No matter where I go he bid the same thing promote the same thing.

A friend of mine have this problem.

Is there a way to get extra edges say by volume or by anything?

oooh... a teguh thread.

back on topic.
Why would anyone want to copy you? Is it because they are they determined to fail miserably?

It is because they are determined to get a piece of $3k per day. However, by doing so, they pretty much destroy the pie. Also because I stupidly taught too many people how to do things thinking they're incompetent anyway.

To give me credit, I did offer partnership. I have no idea why people, having a choice to do lucrative partnership chose to pretty much destroy the pie. Yet, that's what most people do.

What you want to do is work on an economic moat.

Economic Moat Definition | Investopedia

Basically, you need an advantage that can not be copied quickly, thus widening the moat protecting your business.

As I don't know what niche you are in...

One example would be
- user friendly guides given away (with newsletter hookup to download)
- Online tools (javascript mortgage calculator, etc..)
- A good long tail strategy (target those keywords your competitor does not have on their radar)
...etc...

Widen and deepen that moat.

If there is enough money to be made, other people will eventually figure it out and compete with you.

You simply need to grow your business faster than other people can compete.

It's a balancing act of optimizing and maintaining your existing properties for maximum profit and competitiveness while expanding into new areas.

Similar to what others have said in terms of competitive advantages and widening the competitive moat, read [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Understanding-Michael-Porter-Essential-Competition/dp/1422160599"]this[/ame].

Just make a few fail campaigns so maybe he will fuck off once he see you lost your competitive advantage?
Second option, track him down and send him Joe Pesci with a baseball bat service ;)

Did you keep posting about your moves on some kind of public bulletin from where the people keeps on setting up and bidding on the same offers as you?

Not really. Very difficult to see what I am doing. I managed to full him for a while and make quite a bit.

I'll partnered up with guys that can help build me my moats. But then, how do I know I wont' just have another even smarter competitor?

The most obvious choice is to form kartel with my ex employee. But that sob pretend he doesn't know what I am talking about. Fuck this.

if he is copying your LP then place some click jacking code in to take 25% of his traffic and then just bow out

It's a little more complicated than that. Anyway I got other bizs that make more anyway. I can't move on from this one which kind of sucks.
