I am running an offer that requires a lot of information to be put in but its free. I got a good landing page and Im getting close to 10% click through rate. Btw I should mention that this is not a email submit or short form offer. thats why I think 10% ctr is really good for this type of offer because its not something people do everyday. My only problem is people aren't converting very well once they hit the offer site.

Heres some stats

145 click through
1 conversion

Now on the landing page I created a problem or informed them of a problem. And I provided a solution. My CTR is pretty good based on similar offers i've run that only get 5% ctr so I am guessing everything is fine with my landing page. So I think my problem is I can't get them to commit to filling out the offer. Since PPV pages are so small its hard to pre sell much. Is there anything I can do to improve user commitment once they hit the offer page?

I've seen people use a small image of the website on the landing page to kind of prepare the user for what the website will look like or what to expect. Is there anything else I can do? I'm going to split test today, but at the moment I don't expect any drastic changes so thats why I went ahead and posted this right away.

I'm not gonna post my landing page because I don't want a bunch of people coping my ideas, but I can say that the offer has something to do with credit report / identity protection niche.

I dont think anyone wants to copy your ideas if your in here asking for help on why they aint doing good...

More than 2-4 input boxes and people are going to start dropping like flies.

For instance, this company is ass-fucking themselves by requiring unnecessary info:

As a potential customer, why ask me for First/Last name in two separate boxes, require full address with zip (who uses snail mail any more), and then phone plus email. As a customer on the internet, if I wanted to talk to a person, I'd call you.

This company could probably double, if not triple, their lead conversion by dropping the number of input boxes from 10 +2 drop downs, to just "Name" "Email" "Phone".

Not to mention getting rid of that fucking discount code box and requiring them to put a number into quantity. All that shit can be taken care of over the phone.

Remember, for lead-gen, all you need is a click on the submit box. Every single action a lead needs to make prior to making that click will cause abandonment.

If you can't reduce the number of input boxes, it seems to me that the offer is flawed and you'll have difficulty ever getting a good conversion rate unless you have highly-qualified and highly-motivated traffic - this is obviously without knowing anything about your offer.

Also, wtf is up with that other landing page?

link to your page would be helpful

u dumb son? this isnt a DP circle jerk.

@erifdekcew all good if you don't want someone to jack your page, but you've given sufficient info for someone to steal your idea. Anyway, by the looks of it you've made a healthy roi so it's all about getting as much traffic as possible tbh. Keep testing new variations of your lander and see if it makes a difference. Use bits of copy/images/colour/fonts as the offer page on your lander too.
