What Do I Do Next?/Losing Motivation/Whining

Since you enjoy writing why no create a site that is indicative of where your true interests are. In no time you will be writing about things that are meaningful to you and you will be building original content which, will perpetuate traffic, which will in turn turn into profits. Why do you think so many bloggers reach so much success!

You're losing interest because...you're disinterested. Find something you're passionate about, do some onsite SEO, and build backlinks. Find a relevant offer and put it in your ad spot. Keep updating your site with stuff you actually enjoy. If you keep posting relevant content, and keep building backlinks, you should have no trouble not only in making an amazing site but also making the $.

Sometimes you just need to fail hard and go broke to realize that you are hungry for success and will do anything to get there.

I wish I was 17 again, and this time had Dhuck was around giving constructive criticisms, I would not be behind in this "cutthroat" industry.

I had this problem when I first started.

Listen to dchuk, get some cold hard cash fast. Even if it's fiverr. It's easy to say money doesn't motivate you when you don't have it. It's your brains way of saying "if I accept money makes me happy, that means I'm not happy right now. so I will deny the shit out of this".

Once you start to see your bank account stack up, trust me you will grind for moarr.

Smoke a really fat joint, and stare at your computer. You'll feel motivated and happy. Not even kidding, this works for me at least.

Oh yeah, and start working 16 hours a day

When I first started I had discouraging results too. In fact, I bet there's not one person on this earth who's into IM that didn't have a rough time starting out. But I invested every penny I could spare and am now banking big time. Now I spend more in a month on SEO then I do on food for the year. LOL.

Thanks for the advice.

It's very helpful to know there are people who got past the mental road block and went on to make money.

I hustled Fiverr and did dirt cheap logos/banners etc. (self taught) along with a $500 credit card to get started.

Want motivation? You are only 17 years old, do you really want to work another 50 years for someone else or do you want to pave your own way and control your own destiny?

Think about it.

Edison found 99 ways a light bulb didnt work and you have found five ways IM doesn't work. Learn and move on.

maybe a few years ago there was only a mental road block but now its a financial road block as well. this industry is already dominated by a few big players

try blogging

Wow 17 - pretty ambitious to even know about this stuff and work towards it! - while most are out partying like normal 17yos - cut yourself some slack, you still have 5 yrs to well-off. I wish I was still that young!
