Santa didn't bring me anything. The kids made out like bandits though.

I did get : French press and grinder from the wife and kids.

Now have to learn how to make a good cup of coffee with it. (turns out it doesn't just magically produce awesome coffee...)

French press is the only way to roll.


Once you figure out how much coffee to use and long you like to steep it for, you'll be very happy.

The kids got new desktop set ups complete with chairs, desks, shelves and the works. The hubby got a Nexus 7, and I got a new drill since I blew out my last one building the mantle and a new orbital sander. We're such romantic fools around here.

I'm a grown up with kids, so I didn't get anything. Is that not how it works for most people? My bad, my FIL gave me some much appreciated cash and gift cards. So that was good. But if I want some gadget or a car or some shit, I buy that for myself when I feel like it. And I will never be buying anyone else a Lexus for Christmas or any of that bullshit.
