What cut should I ask for?

Okay basically this guy wants me to run a bunch of PPC campaigns and do some SEO work to generate leads for what he's selling. I'll probably be designing a new web site, hosting it on my server, paying for the domain, and generating all the leads with PPC traffic and SEO.

If he funds the PPC campaigns and finalizes all the deals through phone calls and what not, what cut should I ask for?

I don't want a lump sum because I think I'd make a lot more in the long run taking a cut of what he generates from online sales.
 


I would think it depends on what he's selling. Are sales a one time thing or is there renewal business here.
